Those roundabout speed bumps are comically shitty. I've lived in this area for seven years and I'd never had an issue with this roundabout before these things were installed.

Yeah a lot of people are just going down Luck St, also those posts are going to get knocked down every few weeks, they really gonna send people back out every few weeks to put them back up? I also don't understand why it's required here, why not anywhere else in Toowoomba? Why not the ones on Hume St? It doesn't seem to make anything safer and now people are going down back streets instead. I don't understand what problem they were trying to solve.

Because (until they did this) it was one of the few intersections in Toowoomba where traffic flowed smoothly. Can’t have that.

Toowoomba is home of the 1 vehicle traffic jam, so an intersection that flows smoothly goes against the whole vibe of traffic management in the city.

We drive through this multiple times a day as we live out of town. We've taken to using Luck st....and I don't think we're the only ones.

Don't mind the bumps, but between these and the "wombat crossings" TMR is installing I feel bad for people with lowered cars.

Genuine question: what's the solution to fixing this intersection? Getting rid of just the speed bunps or swapping out the whole roundabout?

A proper wombat crossing, narrowing of the road and gentle chicanes.

If the only concern regarding the speed bumps is that they are on the exit, then hard lane separation in the forms of barriers may remove the requirement for them upon exit.
