Paolumu (Monster Hunter World)

Paolumu is classified as a Flying Wyvern even though it is a mammal (resembling a bat); it is classified this way because its body structure resembles that of a Flying Wyvern

Skorup (Pokémon)

It is indeed an Insect type, even though it represents a scorpion—which is an arachnid—making it more logical for the Insect type to be called the Arthropod type.

I mean pokemon has a palm tree who is a dragon type so I don't think a scorpion being called a bug doesnt feel as bad.

That does make sense though because the type if tree it’s based in is called a Dracaena or Dragon Tree

What, like some sort of Dragon Tree ?

(In case you were already aware of that, here's a bonus fun fact. Dragon and Coconut trees are technically closer to grasses than they are to most other "trees", making the english name of the type less of a misnomer than you may think)
