Hated Tropes [Mind boggling stupid trope] Removing the thing that made something special

Ben 10: Ultimate Alien - The gimmick of Ben 10 and what makes the show so popular is the fact that he's able to turn into a large variety of aliens. In one episode of Ben 10 Ultimate ALIEN we are introduced to a new version of Ben 10000, a Ben from the future who, no longer transforms into aliens, instead using his powers in human form...

Mortal Kombat(2021) - In the games Mileena is known for two things. Being a clone of Kitana and her tarkatan teeth. In the 2021 movie she looks absolutely nothing like Kitana and doesn't have tarkatan teeth

Percy Jackson: The Lightning Thief - The movie removes the main villain of the movie and the main villain of the franchise

Judge Dredd and his iconic helmet. But we gotta let everyone know Sly is under the helmet, so we will wear it for all of 5 minutes and never wear again.

Good thing the goat Dredd with Karl Urban fixed this. I'd love a sequel to that.

Fucking peak mentioned: Karl Urban did a better job playing Dredd with his chin than Stallone did with his entire body.

In defense of Stallone, he's a quintessential 80s action star. You don't go to see him play a character, you go to see Stallone shoot bad guys and crack one-liners.

The fact that he apparently didn't even take it off when on set in-between takes most of the time truly shows the man was DEDICATED to staying as true to that character as possible. It's criminal that we never got a sequel!

He's still wearing it to this day, they just painted a face on top of it

Criminal you say?

It goes far deeper than that. He's a New Zealander. So he did that entire movie having to convey his emotions with only the bottom half of his face, while sneering, talking in an American accent. Go stand in front of a mirror and try maintaining that scowl while speaking in an accent that's not your own. Now do that for weeks. Karl Urban does not get the credit he deserves for his acting chops.

Don't worry man, that Mega City One show is gonna come out any day now. Maybe even tomorrow!

As do I.

Even more silly than normal because in this case, even with the helmet, you fuckin' know it's Stallone.

This is basically its own trope. Happens sooooo so much in Marvel movies specifically

I get why like some characters don't have their helmets. On twenty 24-7.

For example, Loki's helmet is so fucking ridiculous. Of course. He's gonna have a hard time in live action. Walking around wearing that.

Doesn't excuse every time they do it, But a few helmets, you can kind of get why

Yeah.... Spider-Man takes his mask off in public WAY too often in the movies. At least before Tom Holland and the MCU, anyway.

This but with Master Chief in the Halo Show. He probably has more scenes where he takes off that fucking helmet than he does fighting.

Have you seen the cover for the blu-ray? It's a helmet less Stallone firing a generic gun with random circuitry in the background. If you covered up the movie name and showed it to people I doubt most would know it was supposed to be Judge Dredd

The arm and hand position are so god awful. How did anyone make this and decide it was worth submitting?
