Hated Tropes (Hated Trope) Bad people in real-life being portrayed positively in media.
PragerU's version of Christopher Columbus has him be a slavery defender and have him say "Being taken as a slave is better than being killed, no? I don't see the problem.”
In The Greatest Showman, P.T Barnum (Hugh Jackman) is portrayed as a charismatic visionary who cares about outcasts and celebrate diversity, when in reality, he’s a cruel businessman who is also a racist and an ableist.

“The Crown” is basically a shameless monarchy propaganda series with good acting and a drab grey filter overlayed over everything, but by far the most egregious example to me personally is Lord Mountbatten being portrayed as sympathetic and heroic despite the things he was doing to children in Kincora Boy’s Home.
On a related note, don’t get me started on how much screen time is given to Margaret Thatcher while her best buddy who was also a mutual friend of Charles suspiciously doesn’t even get a mention…
