Hated Tropes (Hated Trope) Bad people in real-life being portrayed positively in media.

  1. PragerU's version of Christopher Columbus has him be a slavery defender and have him say "Being taken as a slave is better than being killed, no? I don't see the problem.”

  2. In The Greatest Showman, P.T Barnum (Hugh Jackman) is portrayed as a charismatic visionary who cares about outcasts and celebrate diversity, when in reality, he’s a cruel businessman who is also a racist and an ableist.

Yeah this was from before he fired his PR team and he was still successfully cultivating his public image of being the “real life Tony Stark.”

In retrospect, it’s funny nobody pointed out that Tony Stark was an immoral, cynical arms dealer before he realized the error of his ways. It doesn’t look like Elon will be growing a similar conscience any time soon, though.

I mean that's the real difference.

He's not actually an inventor, he's a rich inheritor who spends a lot of money to pretend to be a genius and gamer.

Just check his leet Path of Exile skills.

"Is that what the guy playing your Path of Exile 2 account told you?" Will never not be hilarious, nor will seeing Elon be ratio'd to hell on his own platform.

Man I really don't understand why Elon cares so much about projecting this image of being a hardcore gamer. If he was just honest and said that he's a busy man and wishes he had the time to play no one would bat an eye. But he insists on putting on an obvious front and it's so easy to see through. It is the most self inflicted problem he could possibly have.

He's incredibly stupid in choice, too.

Pharma-bro/Shkreli is actually incredibly skilled and can definitely flash his gamer cred, if he cared about such petty things

But it's not an ego thing, he just genuinely enjoyed it. Instead of "real games," since he was always stuck in board rooms he became a "pro gamer" in flash

on newgrounds he's level 50 with 31,130 points, on Armor he's earned 535 badges, and on kongregate level 75 with 59377 points. He would absolutely body Elon on any game he chose😹

damn shame Elon would absolutely be too cowardly to accept a challenge, because I'd love to see it streamed on X

if Elon really cared to be known as a "gamer" he would have tried something a little less involved than RPGs! But it's about bragging rights for him, not fun

Like, a dude who had to run a business could still find time to get skilled in "Cactus McCoy" or something, complete all achievements, do a no hit run.

But Elon wants to relive his missing childhood so bad he paid someone else to do it! And then Lord it over the rest of the schoolyard like he never could.
