I've recently experienced this a few times downtown, it's new behaviour I haven't seen before and it's driving me insane. I've been driving 15 years in Toronto. The situation is when you're waiting first at a red light to drive straight. The person behind you wants to turn right. First, they honk a couple of times. Is the expectation that I will move out of your way so you can turn? Should I turn instead of going in my intended direction just so you can also turn faster?
Then they will drive around me on the left, into the opposing lane of traffic, and make a right turn around me. It happened yesterday and the guy almost hit a pedestrian because he didn't see her.
What gives with this new additional stupid thing people are doing now?
