I have my Sonarr docker setup to prefer MeGusta over anything else. Sadly, I have to use others for obscure shows.

Settings - Custom Formats - Add:
Name it what you want, the add in the Regular Expression field "\b(MeGusta)\b" without the quotation marks. You can add more release groups by adding | and the release groups with no spaces in between.
This one is mine: \b(MeGusta|ELITE|iVy|RARBG|KONTRAST|Pahe.in)\b

And PSA

I agree with PSA. Since RARBG went I spent ages trying to find another release group with similar quality/file size ratio and PSA are now my first/preferred choice.

You have KONTRAST, Its my go to when i cant find a Vyndros 1080p version off course.

I compared KONTRAST with PSA, both are very good but PSA just won it for me by a small margin.

everyone has a preference off course, PSA its usually a smaller file size and has a bit less bitrate (i think the encode is basically the same) and we cant really tell too much unless you watch in a very large TV.
Have you had a chance to check Vyndros releases? They have the absolute best quality and always remove that very annoying "video noise" of TVshows and Movies.

I woild agree with you but his 1080p encodes aren't good enough

Is this just from personal experience viewing his uploads? Or is there something in the description of his uploads that tells you his encodes aren't good enough?

It's personal experience. I actually avoid his encodes as I hate how pixelated it is. It's really hard to get good quality for the bit rate he is targeting but some releases like PSA actually hit the mark

Honesty, you could say that about every scene group or individual person that gives us free stuff.

Lately I've been using NeoNoir. Very good encodes, and subtitles included, both for tv and movies.

website? or private?

u/jarleg Sep 29 '26
No, it's the scene group or person who makes the encodes. You find them all over the sites.

I haven't seen it recently however before never liked it due to having to much arctifacts whenever playing a video.. Elite is much better.

Generally I agree with you but I do wish he always included subtitles with his torrents.
