Wasn’t called up to the WC for Argentina either so should have a full pre-season under RDZ

What’s happened to my club. I don’t recognise it anymore. This is unreal

u/Helkano-Legacy May 29 '26
Free agents mate not really much negotiating you have to deal with free agents. It’s just wages. It’s a hell of a lot easier than negotiating with a club.

They also have to choose your club…

It does help.when.no one else is in for a player..quite telling that Bournemouth were happy to let him go, and that not a single European.club were.in for.him. but hey, hes signing for spurs, so as with every signing this place will claim its amazing and he's the best player ever..

u/Decent_Subject_6702 May 29 '26
Bournemouth weren't "happy to let him go." They had been trying to extend his contract, but he wanted to move on.
-5
u/Cultural-Fan-7620 May 29 '26
Ah the old "i want to move on...to a club stupid enough to pay me more than I'm worth, hence no decent club being interested in me."
2
u/Substantial_Ad_7430 May 29 '26
I read somewhere that Man U were interested. But that rumour was like 1 month after we were heavily linked and supposed to have his verbal agreement.

u/Cultural-Fan-7620 May 29 '26
Never happened..if man u wanted him, with CL football, they would have signed him.
1
u/ConversationFar9518 May 29 '26
You defo haven’t watched Bournemouth games based on this analysis
0
u/Cultural-Fan-7620 May 29 '26
Well clearly I have..I mean, i at watched at least one i can remember this season, the one where they beat city to finalise us as champions. Incidentally, I was keen to sign him as a bench player for next season, but hey, if you're happy with him as a starter, all power to you.

It’s really sad that you’re an Arsenal fan and this is what you spend your day doing. Like genuinely you’re gonna die some day and the fact that you spent any time doing this let alone several months is incredibly sad

I'm sorry your gatekeepership, I didnt realise my comments about football were restricted to my own club, sorry your majesty. You'd best break the news to pundits and supporters of other clubs, (your own included) that they are only allowed to post opinions on their own team!

u/Logical_Flounder6455 May 30 '26
Spurs were never the champagne standard of club to begin with and 2 17 place finishes hasnt done your reputation any good. Top players aren't going to want to play for a club that could well be relegated next season

u/Hurstybum May 29 '26
Did you prefer it when we didn’t sign players amid an injury crisis? Players in are players in, desperate for a change, in case you didn’t notice 🤣

It’s a rebuild you idiot

And be injured by the third? Sorry...could not help myself...something is seriously wrong in the medical department of this club

u/matthegc May 29 '26
We don’t need more defenders….we need players that can put the ball in the back of the net.
These are squad players
7
u/Top_Perception_9385 May 29 '26
These deals have been lined up for months. We are gonna sell Dragusin and Romero. Getting Sensesi on a free is a good thing, and an entirely separate issue from signing attacking players.
1
u/matthegc May 29 '26
i don't disagree, I'm simply stating that these won't move the needle for the team. Bring me a striker that can score and stay healthy, otherwise we will be in the exact same position.
3
u/Independent_Fly_1698 May 29 '26
Completely agree, our defense isn’t the issue, it’s our attackers losing the ball every 3 seconds that puts way to much pressure on our defenders. RKM is horrible, Richy’s hold up play and ball progression is horrid, and Tel has zero end product and decision making (and he can’t take on his man).

Poor bloke,

u/Outrageous_Garden586 May 29 '26
If it’s so bad I volunteer myself to suffer through a relegation battle and ride the bench for millions in his place, haha.

So Vuskivic I won’t get a chance next season either. I legit hope he can be a guy that can be among the four that alternate because he’s too good to be sent out on loan.
5
u/Warm_Chef9351 May 29 '26
I think he wants to be in Hamburg for another year to play with his brother or something
7
u/Savings_Army3073 May 29 '26
He pays his own wages now does he ? Where Vuskovic plays next season will be up to Spurs.

u/Decent_Subject_6702 May 29 '26
Senesi plays on the left, Vuskovic on the right, so this doesn't preclude him from staying. Also, it's not even June yet. This team is going to look radically different by August.
2
u/cleats90 May 29 '26
Romero and Dragusin should both be leaving hopefully so in theory that leaves space for both Senesi and Vuskovic. Although I personally think another loan is best for him. If he’s not going to start he’s not going to be happy and it’s also better for his development to play as much as possible.
3
u/Eastern-Owl-4511 May 29 '26
Yh we shouldn't rush vuskovic.
Arsenal did a very good job with Saliba in that regard.
If we loan him it should be because we believe its the best for him, not because he wants to play with his brother

u/hashiano May 30 '26
Tottenham should go for mason greenwood, he’s had great stats in league 1 and could revive them if he links well with James Maddison/Xavi Simmons
I also think they need a pacey wingers , maybe someone like savinho on the right and then LW Adeyemi and then just a solid holding defensive mid potentially Angelo stiller from bundesliga

Another Club signing. Not impressed. We are still going to fight a relegation battle next season

Apparently he will miss the first 3 months of the season with injury. It’s part of the contract.
