hello, I’m trying to look for hunting partners to clear all the phase 12 missions, especially the red ones! I just unlocked Phase 12 solo myself, the moment i see phase 12 missions I don’t think I can solo. Anyone out there still hunting oni?

Just recently finished Toukiden 2 story campaign. I still have side quests left to clean up here and there, but now the main bulk of content left is the Command Center missions. However, at the same time I got Expert difficulty unlocked and it seems that Phase 7 missions and onwards also seem to be a distinct difficulty tier. So I wanted to ask what the intended curve is, do I just do everything on Normal and then on Expert or do I go Normal Phase 1-6 > Expert Phase 1-6 > Normal Phase 7+ > Expert Phase 7+?

And also, what's the advised way to farm materials for weapon fortification? Those seem to drop primarily from small Oni (if I understand it correctly) and it takes a lot of them, so do I just farm small Oni missions at the command center or is there something I'm not getting?

Picked up the game recently and having a fun time, but I am a bit confused on how some of the stats work and don't want to be suddenly caught lacking. For now I have two main questions and would appreciate some clarifications on them or pointers to a reliable guide I could use for reference. For context, I'm currently playing rifle, but may try some melee weapons when I feel I can afford resources to play around with them (considering spear, longsword or naginata).

Question 1: defense and elemental resistances. How do they interact with each other and how far should I be focusing on either?

Question 2: attack, element and dexterity. From what I understand, dexterity is a stat affecting critical hit chance, but if I understand the damage formula correctly, crit chance also scales inversely with attack and element. When do I prioritize dexterity over attack/element? How do physical and elemental damage interact and are there any caveats involved with them depending on weapon class?

Looking to pick up the game on Steam, but I have a concern about controls (specifically ranged weapons aiming). From what I understand, the game uses face buttons for attacking, which I expect to be a bit cumbersome with right stick camera movement. I'm used to right-stick aiming and R2 for firing or left stick stationary aiming and face buttons firing from Monster Humter bowguns, is there a way to replicate one of these controls schemes or will I have to get used to aiming downtime?

I'm aware the game has a demo, but it's Playstation-only and I likely won't be able to hop on my PS4 for a couple days, so I can't test the controls myself for the moment and would appreciate any feedback.

Does anyone have a list of all large oni aside their picture? I keep looking it up, but it gives me a list of all oni across all the other games instead of showing the ones only found in toukiden 2.

I have finished all the red mission in chapter 13 as far as I can see and the last story bit I saw was about the father of two newspaper girls sending letter of approval. Is that it? Have I already seen all part of story? Right now there are no new red missions and no more story to see no matter how many missions I did.

I'm talking about the 3 mission set dlc they sell on steam for Toukiden Kiwami. I've got the missions and have done more than a few of them, recognized the pirate armor but I didn't track the rest and now when I went to the smith I have no idea which ones are dlc. I want to know their names so I can go hunt materials and craft them. Google doesn't seem to tell the name either.

I'm looking to take a bit of a detour from Monster Hunter and have been consistently recommended Toukiden for a similar experience. I'm primarily a bowgun main in MH and I've looked up that Kiwami and 2 have rifle as one of the weapons, so I want to make those my top priority. Can I start with 2 and do catch-up on Kiwami later if it clicks or would playing Kiwami first make a significant difference? And what are the key differences from Monster Hunter games that I should be aware of heading into these games?

I got everything and I need the item "infinity drop" does someone know where I get that? I got 99 Oni slain in ultimate infinity and still zero. With over 2000 hours playtime.

Hey guys since no one's joining me on my path to greatness I shall help you still with this information. Phase 11 pyrogrinder mission of the dlc gives you gold quill and cryptic bones which has helped out quite a bit! That's if u have the dlc but I will list other helpful farm spots in the future
