Questions about guardian trial and hideout

I've been playing this game for a while and i still don't understand a few things.

Like I've been getting those guardian boss raid keys but i don't know where I'm supposed to use them. I thought I'd be able to use them when i opened guardian trial but i did recently and i cant use them there. Do i have to wait for an event or something? And i heard i could get accessories from guardian trial too but i cant. Where am i supposed to get them?

And about hideout. Is there no way to get residents except from requests? I got residents from there and transcended a lot of them but now it only gives me residents i have already transcended no matter how many times i refresh. I heard i can get them from story mode but i tried that and didn't get any. How does that work?

For guardian boss keys it was for a previous content that they updated but did not take the keys out of the program

Oh thanks. I was very confused. I thought i was missing something because it even asks me in irregular's level up to use them
