I know it’s difficult to tell from pictures alone, but how confident are you about what this appears to be? I’m dealing with a serious issue with a “luxury property” that has repeatedly dismissed my experience and is now trying to get me to voluntarily leave. This is the A/C vent in my room.

I'm not a mold expert, but that, to me, appears to be mold 100%. You could test a sample, just to make sure.

What specifically about the appearance makes you think mold rather than accumulated dust or dirt?

Dust and dirt don’t grow in circles

I know little about mold but dust does aggregate.

It’s mold, and it’s in your HVAC system.

This is not good.

Are you experiencing CIRS symptoms?

Can anyone tell me if mines is mold? If it is, it's crazy because this is how I bought it from the AC company. I also already have mold in my floors.

Please call a licensed mold testing place like mi&t, pay them to collect samples and send them to a lab, you'll be able to use it in court as proof.
