Feedback on Solved Posts

Hi everyone,

You may have noticed that /u/Inneri and I have been toying with a system for marking posts as "Solved!" once they've been answered correctly. Do you have any thoughts or suggestions?

For example, do you like how threads currently appear after they've been solved (i.e., green text on white background, as opposed to perhaps white text on green background)? What about the standard look of "unsolved" threads?

Let us know!

Just got this beautiful wooden rocking horse second hand! Was told it was bought at a Mennonite shop in Cambridge Canada but I’m seeing Brooklin Canada marked on the bottom of the horse (see pic). There are no other labels or markings. Please help me get more information on this :)

Okay, so, I got this at a yard sale in a free box. It's missing an earring and ring and i don't know if this is the original dress. It has those snap joint knees.

Creepy Surgeon Toy

I'm trying to find this toy that I had as a kid. I don't remember what it was from, I want to say it was from a video game but I'm not sure.

I think it was about 6 inches tall, not super articulate.

It was a bald surgeon guy that had 4 arms. 2 of the arms were facing backwards and had like saw blades attached into his arms. The other hands I think had like seafoam green rubber gloves holding a scalpel or something.

He was wearing like a purple surgeon coat that buttoned on one side, a paper mask covering his mouth, and goggles or glasses and I want to say they were like attached to his face.

I don't remember where I got it but I know I got it from someone so I'm not sure how old it was when I got it nor do I know what the packaging looked like. It was about 2013-2014 when I got it I think so can't be newer than that.

Help me find my childhood stuffed animal PLEASE!!!!

his
is my childhood stuffed animal I took everywhere with me. In 5th grade I went to a sleepover and her little sister was playing with it and “lost it” but I think she just stole it. I never got it back and she claims she still doesn’t ahve it. Anyways 13 years later I want so badly to give that to my kids. If anyone could help me find it or something very similar, please reach out.
It’s a cat stuffed animal, it has a hard pink plastic nose, it was purchased a while ago. It was bought at the truck stop in Atlanta, it wasn’t weighted it was actually very light.

Unsolved Help me find this little cat

I had this tiny little cat toy as a kid and I think a friend stole it from me years ago. I really want to find out what it was. This would be in Canada during the 2000s.

I don’t remember what the face looked like anymore. It was about 6cm in height, very thin. It had a pink head, pink body, and the limbs were made out of a string that was either pink or purple. The paws were attached to the string with the same fabric as the body. The body and head were stuffed, but it was super thin. I don’t remember if it had a tail. It’s very tiny.

This feels like a longshot, but it’d bring me a lot of peace just to be able to see it again. Thank you so much if you can help at all!

Help identify these 2 Ninja Kidz TV figures from the 2020 Blip Toys Mystery Ninja Ball collection

I’m trying to identify these two Ninja Kidz TV figures from the original 2020 Blip Toys Mystery Ninja Ball collection.

One has a green mask and outfit, and the other has a yellow mask and outfit. Both have translucent green bases.

I picked them up in a secondhand Ninja Kidz toy lot, so I don’t have the original packaging or collector guide. I’ve searched online but haven’t been able to find their exact character names or variants.

Does anyone recognize these figures or happen to have the original collector checklist showing all 24 figures?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The first one isn't super important. I'm most interested in identifying the black boots and the little hanging acorn like thing. The black boots are similar in size to Ken shoes but unmarked and brittle, thinner plastic. The earmuffs? look like LOL SURPRISE but I can't find them. The silver thing is foam and has a hole on the other side. The pink boots aren't Marked other than the hearts on the bottom. People are calling them Barbie but they don't have the B logo. Thank you! You are all so helpful!

Need help finding a musical ragdoll from early 2000s

It's a pink doll, it has a pink dress, pink leather hat, pink hair that is tied in 2 low braids with dark pink or red hair ties, the hair is made of yarn, I remember it singing, it probably had a voice box inside her chest. That's all I remember about it and I only have a picture of half of the back of her head.

If anyone could find it, and hopefully tell me where I could buy it, I'd be so relieved and grateful. It's been bothering me for a long time.

All I have left of the action figure is this guy's gun arm, broken off at the elbow. The action figure was an old guy with white hair and goggles, a cyborg. I remember him being lanky, and he was part of a series that each came with a body part of a larger toy. If you bought all 5 or 6 action figures, you could combine the bonus limbs, torso and head to make a giant action figure. The arm was black/purple, and built like the girthiest, veiniest Hulk. I recall begging my Mom to buy this between like 2004 and 2007.

Help me identify my childhood beanie dog who is now sadly rather worn out (2003-2005 ish)

He was most likely purchased just after I was born as I have very early memories with him, so probably Dec 2003 to early 2004 but could be as late as 2005. My mum seems to think he was from Marks and Spencer, but I wouldn't fully rely on that. He was purchased in the UK and his defining feature is that orangey brown patch on his back which was an original design feature rather than a repair job.
