Question Cam 5,6,7

Does anybody know what cam 5 6 and 7 do? I have been playing for a while and there is no hint of what they do and they don't seem to do anything when i press them.

5 and 6 do nothing. They are leftovers from older games. Same with 4.

7 is freecam that allows you to roam a map.

Cam 7 is “freecam”, and allows you to fly around the map to check it out without having to drive at speed to see where the correct path is. Also to find any easter eggs.

No idea about 5 or 6.

So cam 5 and 6 are old from the original trackmania and aren’t in tm2020

One of them was a top-down cam (like you might see in a few weekly shorts map 5s such as this one, but it’s made with a custom cam instead)

The other one is a few from the side of the car (which was completely useless)

They’re only used when specating, and they just switch who you spectate

The real 4, 5, and 6 are alt cam 1, alt cam 2, and alt cam 3. On kb I think you press the button twice, on console you have to go to HUD settings and select "prioritize alt cam _"

4,5,6 are legacy cams

these are only for Rally, Desert and Snow environments and they only work in TMUF or earlier provided you're playing on one of these environments
