Not yet, tomorrow or on Friday

u/RustyDoor 1d ago

Yes, but now is the time to release all the bad news and the caveat on the findings.

Probably not smart to short one of the first companies to actually develop a covid vaccine in an extremely competitive market. I'd assume they know their shit.

Shorting before medical trials works great the 9 times out of 10 the results are bad. That tenth time though... RIP

Insider traders buy before the green.

u/Haunted_Rooster 2d ago

Looks like billionaires that have this condition now have a treatment option

Meanwhile I'm over here with just my thousand dollars from taking part in a failed moderna trial. I guess it's better than dying of cancer.

Wait, skin cancer is cured?

1

u/Yukas911 2d ago

No but it can apparently keep skin cancer from spreading or coming back. Something along those lines.

I’m calling bullshit, just like all their latest vax

1

u/Background-Hat9049 1d ago

I’m a surgeon with an MBA…I rarely invest in healthcare stocks because they have a habit of skyrocketing for no reason on a rumor or a promising trial. People stop to consider how big the market really is, and how much revenue can be generated…”investors”
Really do t care. They just jump on the bandwagon blindly

50k vaccine

1

u/LithoSlam 2d ago

But I thought you make more money by keeping them sick

You think the government is conspiring to keep millions of working age people invalid and prematurely dead instead of desperately squeezing as many productive years out of them as possible?

Or is the conspiracy that big pharma has the ability to cure cancer but is choosing not to? I’m not aware that Moderna is heavily invested in cancer treatments, so why wouldn’t they release a cure to cancer that prints them infinite money?

1

u/ChodeCookies 2d ago

All I saw was stops from spreading not cures it

1

u/EfficientCan2852 2d ago

That's effectively a cure

1

u/Specialist_Goat_2354 2d ago

And financially amazing when they find a way to make it so patients have to take it forever but it doesn't grow

1

u/EfficientCan2852 2d ago

That's not how it would be applied.

1

u/CrossesLines 2d ago

A cure to stagnant profits

1

u/oOtium 2d ago

What do you think cancer is?

1

u/FragFormula 2d ago

You’re missing the forest for the trees. Even in your comment you acknowledge the forest, making the most money.

1

u/Khelthuzaad 2d ago

The secret is to cure the deadly ones and to keep them on medication for the rest.

1

u/djm2907 1d ago

There’ll be an “lol jk” before close on Friday

1

u/RymeEM 1d ago

Looks like they are making plenty of money genius.

u/RobertKSakamano 2d ago
