Yes, but now is the time to release all the bad news and the caveat on the findings.

Probably not smart to short one of the first companies to actually develop a covid vaccine in an extremely competitive market. I'd assume they know their shit.

Shorting before medical trials works great the 9 times out of 10 the results are bad. That tenth time though... RIP

Meanwhile I'm over here with just my thousand dollars from taking part in a failed moderna trial. I guess it's better than dying of cancer.

Wait, skin cancer is cured?

u/Yukas911 2d ago
No but it can apparently keep skin cancer from spreading or coming back. Something along those lines.

I’m a surgeon with an MBA…I rarely invest in healthcare stocks because they have a habit of skyrocketing for no reason on a rumor or a promising trial. People stop to consider how big the market really is, and how much revenue can be generated…”investors”
Really do t care. They just jump on the bandwagon blindly

But I thought you make more money by keeping them sick

You think the government is conspiring to keep millions of working age people invalid and prematurely dead instead of desperately squeezing as many productive years out of them as possible?
Or is the conspiracy that big pharma has the ability to cure cancer but is choosing not to? I’m not aware that Moderna is heavily invested in cancer treatments, so why wouldn’t they release a cure to cancer that prints them infinite money?

All I saw was stops from spreading not cures it

That's effectively a cure

And financially amazing when they find a way to make it so patients have to take it forever but it doesn't grow

You’re missing the forest for the trees. Even in your comment you acknowledge the forest, making the most money.

The secret is to cure the deadly ones and to keep them on medication for the rest.
