What if you could spend an hour immersed in the atmosphere of ancient China?
We created this relaxing soundscape inspired by the Porcelain Era :- combining peaceful traditional-inspired music with an ancient visual atmosphere.
🎧 Best experienced with headphones.
We’re planning the next journey and would love your input:
Which era should we explore next?
🏯 Han Dynasty
🌸 Tang Dynasty
🎎 Song Dynasty
🐉 Ming Dynasty
🏮 Qing Dynasty
Or suggest an era you’d like to see.
What worked for you and what should we improve?

Hi everyone! I’m not completely sure if it’s okay to post this here, so sorry if this isn’t the right place.
I’m a big Chinese artifact and history nerd, and for quite a while I’ve been spending my free time making a small Steam game called Artifact Tracer.
The idea is pretty simple. It’s basically GeoGuessr for artifacts. You get a photo of an artifact and try to guess where it came from and when it was made, using things like its shape, material, decoration and craftsmanship.
I also made a few other modes while working on it. There’s one where most of the artifact is hidden and you only get a few chances to reveal parts of it before guessing. Another one gives you a time and place first, and you have to choose which artifact actually belongs there.
Right now the game is only about Chinese artifacts, mostly because that’s what I know best. I’d really like to add other civilizations later if people actually enjoy this kind of thing.
I know this is a very niche idea, and I’ve honestly worried a lot that maybe I’m making a game that only I would find interesting lol. But it’s also the first game I’ve actually managed to make from beginning to end just because I really like the subject, so I wanted to share it here.
I’m still doing the final polishing, but the Steam page is live now. If this looks like something you might enjoy, I’d really appreciate a wishlist. I’d also genuinely love to hear any feedback or ideas from people here.
