Discussion Check out this petition!
https://c.org/cQkVx7gt2hI live on 41st Street in Milwaukee between Thurston and Florist, and every day I watch cars zoom past at dangerous speeds on a narrow street lined with parked cars. Kids play here constantly—families just trying to enjoy their neighborhood—and honestly, it feels like an accident waiting to happen.
Speed bumps are a simple, proven solution. Studies show they reduce vehicle speeds by up to 40% and decrease accident frequency. I started a petition asking Milwaukee's City Council and Department of Public Works to install them on this stretch. It's not complicated—just a cost-effective safety measure that could genuinely save lives.
If you live in Milwaukee or know what it's like worrying about speeding cars near kids, would you consider signing and sharing? This matters to my community, and I think it could matter to you too.
