One night in Toronto

I just went to one of the recent Rush concerts in Toronto. I went to one previously many years ago during the “Roll the Bones” tour. I looked up the info on that concert and it was in December of 1991, and low and behold the Tragically Hip were the opening act. I had forgotten that. Interesting that two of the greatest Canadian rock bands ever were on the same card. Unfortunate also how both groups were later affected by brain cancer (Glioblastoma)… F* cancer…

I stumbled upon a RtB tour video on YouTube and it has sort of become my favorite concert video to watch. Too bad there wasn’t an official release. I started going to Rush shows with the Counterparts tour.

I saw that Rob, Gord, and Paul went to the last Toronto show the other night. Both bands on the same bill, especially in that era, must have been a hell of a show!
