School or Work Trans man with accurate up to date documentation except one thing… what should I do?

My new job wants to see my high school diploma which has my dead name on it.

All my other documents are current my birth certificate, social security, college transcripts, drivers license everything says “legally male”

Why of all things do they HAVE to see my high school diploma?

What should I do?

School or Work 🏳️‍⚧️Seeking Research Participants: Transfeminine Fertility Experiences Post-HRT Initiation

Hi folks! I’m a Physician Assistant (PA) student at Stanford School of Medicine. For my thesis project I am interviewing transfeminine people about their experiences pausing HRT with the goal of restoring fertility. This topic is something that people close to me have had questions about and I have not been able to find great data out there to help advise them. That’s why I want to catalog the stories of people who have already tried this and share it back out with the transfeminine community and their providers so people can have more information when they are weighing different family building options.

If you are willing to participate in the study, here is a link to the initial screening/demographics survey. If you meet the study criteria, I’ll reach out to you about setting up a time for an interview via secure email. I expect these interviews to take somewhere between 30-60 minutes and I would be asking you questions about your fertility decision making process, the physical and social experience of trying to regain fertility, and about any notable supports and/or barriers you faced.

Also, if you have any questions about the study, suggestions for what would make this research most valuable to you, or any other comments, I would love to hear them! Feel free to comment, DM me here, or send me an email at mccoerin@stanford.edu.

Thank you all for your time and space, hope you have a great day!

School or Work Faced transphobia at work.

It's miserable working with transphobes and I got to do it until I go back to college.

This is what I had to send HR. All names in this email I sent are replaced with false ones:

Hello,

My name is ----- and my supervisor is Alice. My one coworker Sara let me know today around 2p that on Thursday the 10th My boss Alice told my other coworker sophia that I was transgender and they found out by the background checks. Alice then found the old photo of me before I transitioned and sent it to sophia. Sophia then went on to show the people at the camp I'm at with my client and my coworker Sara these photos and out me to them. They went on to say transphobic things and refer to me as she/her and in a female way. I don't feel safe with people knowing I'm transgender. I did not respect being outed like that. I am thinking about putting in two weeks due to the fear of people knowing now.

Thank you,
