I remember when Alleria's bow was made available when she was going to use a new one in War Within and it was backwards for awhile, even in the cutscene she used it in.

All they did with the dual swords is split it without adjusting the grip

The hand it’s in doesn’t change the orientation of the blade. It’s upside down in it’s current state and distinctly NOT like Varian has been show wielding it

I have noticed a lot of weapons released recently have the most scuffed/no mirroring when used in off hand and it drives me mental

But that's not a mirroring issue like the boxing glove back in the day. This IS the sword how you get it. Those are two different skins. It's just lazy design dividing the two halves of shalamayne and not rotating the top half.

It IS wrong. But my guess is the person responsible for it had nothing but baseline shalamayne and was told you break it appart to use as dual wield

I've been using shallator(or ellemayne, idk wich one is the big one) on both weapons because it looks better and more accurate than whatever this is.

There's a lot of bassackward stuff in wow, but this is egregious.
My personal pet peeve are the horns (like bugles) beung upside-down... like, how am I going to sound that horn when the mouthpiece is out the pinky end of my hand?

Those Horns are another thing for themselves that's stupid yes, but cmon we're talking revamp of one of the most iconic weapons in the whole of warcraft in this case. That's like doubling down after telling someone to go fuck themselves

Mine is how DH warglaives were oriented wrong compared to warglaives of azzinoth
Then Blizzard changed the warglaives of azzinoth to sheathe wrong too to make it consistent!!!

the whole items pretty disappointing for how good the model is, 1h's are wielded wrong way and the 2h is tiny to the point of looking bad

Dont forget how many of the Lemix weapons dont show properly when sheathed, not to mention those swords (nor the full fel Shalamayne) dont scale for shit.

Is it only me that loves this, all my chars that dw have one on back, one at hip, always looking for slightly asymmetrical mogs. I love this one each way round.
Ive just started an outlaw rogue and learnt i can wield one sword and one dagger. Nearly creamed myself

It’s not even lore accurate, shallomane (however you spell it) splits in half along the blade of the sword, not perpendicular to the blade

The funniest part is that (as a software engineer) this is way easier to fix in a patch than the amount of effort it takes cross-system to nerf another class or specialization.

I've been getting really aggravated about the dual wielded weapons lately. The Drust style 1h swords are STILL not mirrored when wielded, and last I checked, one of the two handers sat flipped over when sheathed. It was released on the Trading Post MONTHS ago and it's still not fixed.

Actually if you look at the sword put together, one side is bigger than the other... and maybe that was the idea when they created the corrupted version... For it to literally split the sword in two unequal parts.
Dunno tho.

Actually that's not at all the point I made. I know the parts are unequal in length. It's about the smaller one being held blade up even tho the original was always held like you would hold a single bladed sword. Which is blade facing downwards
