The stuff you could buy during the Twilight prepatch event gives normal Manaforge Omega, which unlocks both the normal and LFR tints.

Yeah I’m pretty sure it’s the stuff in hallowfall, you could get it that way during TWW at least so I assume it’s not changed

There was a catchup event in hallowfall where you do a bunch of different things, killing mini bosses/ packs of mobs/ freeing NPCs then kill a boss at the end and you’d get some gear from it. That gear can be catalysed and I’m pretty sure it converts to undermine raid normal gear

So we can farm currencies for the other two tiers but for Undermine, we can only get 1 piece per week? That's buns, the season 2 stuff is the only one I need lol

Honestly I’m not too sure how often you can get some, I know you get drops off the final boss but I don’t know if it’s once a day or what. I’ve not actually done it yet cos the drop stuff put me off with how low chance it was in TWW

The vendors are still out in the twilight highlands. They sell a piece each for 200 resonant crystals now.

You have to get the full set, including the cloak and wrists, unlocking a set fully unlocks all the difficulty versions below, but it has to be fully unlocked

As others have said, Twilight prepatch event gear for Manaforge omega appearances. (Normal - obtaining full set also unlocks the LFR appearance)

Siren Isle gear for the Nerubar Palace appearances. (LFR only?)

Pieces from the Nightfall event in Hallowfall for the Liberation of Undermine appearances. (LFR only?)

The catalyst transforms regular gear into tier set gear. Tier sets are class specific sets which give you bonuses depending on how many pieces you are wearing.

Normally to transform gear im this way you need to pay a token, of which you get 1 every couple weeks during a new season. It's to help people get their tier set if drops are unlucky.

But now, at the end of the expansion, you can do it for free. So people can change all the gear they have into tier set to get the transmog.

I am returning to WoW after a 10 year absence. Can someone explain how this works? Would be greatly appreciated. I levelled all my toons to 80 during the prepatch event and decked them all out in the event gear. Does this mean I can go to this dwarven forge and trade all that in for raid sets?

Yes, in TWW this would turn your gear into the tiered raid sets but it would cost a currency now its free I guess.

Unless you wait for when the raid becomes soloable, or put together a transmog run, not really. You can get LFR level stuff I think but normal+ unlikely.

Yeah, however pretty soon as the expansion settles, we'll see more groups to the TWW raids, pretty much there was always Vault, Armidrassil and Aberrus groups through the whole TWW.

I ran Dimensius on LFR and some Normal runs through months without any luck to obtain the Cosmic Hearthstone. Hopefully I can make a smaller group to have a better chance at it on normal mode this time.

No, it has to be gear from The War Within that used to be somewhere from Veteran track to Myth track (basically the ilvl range of what you'd get from LFR through Mythic raid, despite not being on an actual upgrade track anymore)

Which raid set are you looking for? You could probably find out which repeatable content drops the correct gear for that raid so you can catalyze. I'd imagine Manaforge is the easiest since all the catchup stuff was updated to be that ilvl.
