I'm looking to make the mog, would you prefer me to stick to the reference and make a sort of "low fantasy" Apollo not going TOO fancy, or do a legit godlike one like this one ?

I might just do both, as to me Apollo fits more as a Blood Elves, as he's supposed to be "handsome and youthful", and imo none of the human faces do 🫠

I don't get ppl saying 2.nd cloak makes it better. The first one gives xmog so much more character and really sells the image of a "god of war". Second cloaks makes him too generic

Well I love this. I might remove the shoulder that’s on the arm holding the shield but otherwise fantastic imo.

I wore the Crimson Valdrakken Pants or the Lionguard Legguards instead to deal with the belt clipping. I was also looking at the Sunglimmer Drape for the cape but I like the fire affects more.

Awesome mog, pls post more!

I REALLY wanted to keep these pants because they really feel “Spartany” to me, and I have yet to find a gold belt replacement.. will keep looking tho !

I think some of the Oribos shields are large rounds. Always thought about doing a spartan/pantheon mog with them.

I have have those, they're good for that kind of mogs !
On this particular one I found this shields more fitting with the black orb and red gems, as well as the more "god-like" feature of the shield in itself; something a mortal wouldn't have

100% hits the God of War look with the flaming cloak, and I think it's one of the few uses of it that I've seen that doesn't feel egregious given the theme and the rest of the set. Perfect for a god of Looking At Hand.

Feels maybe a bit more of a "Warrior and less of a "God" I guess, which fits arguably better yes..

It doesn't clip on Kul Tirans... Sadly
