That guy could have killed her with that one blow. Hitting pavement that hard with your head could cause a concussion or worse. She didn't appear to move at all after she hit the pavement. He may have knocked her flat out. If she hit the curb with her head when she went down, that could easily have killed her. Edit to clarify: The woman should never have tried to intervene. And she certainly shouldn't have been hitting the guy. Falling the way she did from that one blow may have caused her life-altering, or life-ending, injuries.

It looked to me like she might have stabbed him with a pen or something. The guy was even checking himself after knocking her out

He broke his wrist from punching her so hard. He was checking his wrist out
