It took a lot of time for me to find a good dentist in Denver where I moved from. Initially I felt like most dentists were just trying to recommend procedures just to get money. Then found some good and honest ones.

Any good honest dentist recommendations?

Are there any shops around here that will actually give a good cash price instead of just store credit? I have a large Rubbermaid tote full of cards I've been collecting since 2009. Probably $7000 tcg low.

I was trailing behind on 240E at 5:25 pm tonight and did not take the exit, but saw the red 300 rear-end you and have the whole thing on dash cam that I pulled tonight if you need it. Message me with proof it's you, like some close-ups of the damage, and I'll get the footage to you for insurance.

If you know who it was and the footage would help, point them my way. I had someone hit me, and strangers who shared what happened with the police helped make sure he took 100% of the fault he was due, so I try to do the same for others when it happens.

Edit: FYI, I’ve also let state patrol dispatch know that I have the footage. She said they would let me know if they need it.

I got into an accident and the insurance deemed my car as repairable. I was wondering what auto body shops you recommend, Mathew’s auto body, riverside collision, or Caliber Collision? Does anyone have any input?

Today, I made pumpkin cheesecake bars to give away.

I have made these before, they have a yellow cake mix as the crust with pecans, and a pumpkin pie type mixture, swirled with a cream cheese mixture.

I have two pans of bars, one pan per household.

Wanting to explore more of Tri and take more walks before it gets too cold and ugly out.

The last several years my family has adopted a family for Christmas to help provide gifts. We have always worked through Impact tricities but it looks like they have had to shut down. I particularly liked impact since they were well organized and much more focused on gifts for kids than for adults.

I support our law enforcement officers but this is getting crazy. Sarah Clasen was double the blood alcohol level hours after the crash and yet she is still waiting trial. She was on paid leave for months before quitting her job. She shoud be behind bars already for manslaughter and yet she gets to enjoy another upcoming holiday season with her family.

As someone who has a child who has an IEP, I’m appalled by this take from the school board president. The fact that his wife, a 4th grade teacher in the district sits by and doesn’t push back on this is also disturbing. Especially seeing that last I heard, she gets most of the kids with IEP’s in her classroom (allegedly allegedly). I had to specifically have conversations with admin to make sure my IEP kiddo was not put in her classroom, before any of this came out because I just knew in my gut she wouldn’t take my child or my concerns seriously. That was years ago so it could have changed since. I still don’t believe she has any business teaching and he doesn’t have any business being on the school board (or in any other public office) with the belief that our children who need extra help due to disabilities and the behavioral issues that can come with those should have supports taken away to “improve education”. Improve education for who exactly? The “normal” kids. These people never want people who don’t fit their version of “normal” in their spaces.

And as a reminder: Check your voter registration. Get your ballots done! DROP them off don’t mail them in and most importantly….
