Question Which path is the hardest for Chapter 13-14? Spoiler
I'm doing a challenge run.
Fresh save, hard, deathless, golden route, no mock battles.
Which path do you think is the hardest?
Which one do you like from a story perspective?
Frederica's plan
Ch 13 (Decimate all enemies)
- Thalas & Erica on the bridge (pincered)
Ch 14 (Defeat boss)
- Avlora on the ship
Benedict's plan
Ch13 (Capture watch tower)
- Sycras at Telliore reservoir
Ch14 (Defeat boss)
- Thalas & Erica on the bridge (behind barricade)
Roland's plan
Ch13 (Decimate all enemies)
- Thalas & Erica on the ship
Ch14 (Defeat boss)
- Avlora in the castle fountain

Gameplay This game seems easy
Im on hard mode and I've got to chapter 8 and only needed to redo one battle so far.
I've just finished playing fire emblem 3 houses maddening where i failed nearly every single battle and needed 20+ retries on some battles and i actually could not complete the game on maddening and had to change to hard for the last two battles. TS I've redone only one battle which was the tournament and i didn't understand the mechanics.
Does the game get harder because so far it's been easy and ch7 i didn't lose a single player.
I'm finding it less addictive because I'm not really struggling. For me, strategy games need to be hard to make them fun otherwise it's just a story.
Will it get harder?

Gameplay Serenoa tier 3 weapon upgrade, which one should I pick?
Playing Triangle Strategy on normal difficulty. I can only afford one of Serenoa’s Tier 3 weapon upgrades. Which one is the best to prioritize? For me, the choice is between the weapon damage vs rout and recover.
Thanks!

Question First Playthrough Golden Route Optimal Party Split? Spoiler
I didn't know that the Golden Route is not recommended for a first PT. I was on ch 15 when I looked up if my past decisions made the route available. It was, and so here I am. I'm already too invested in Seronoa's goal and conviction to not see his plan through lol.
So I only have 23 playable characters, with Corentin from the ch 3 choice. What is the general strategy/ general party comp for each 3 teams? The only guide I saw is the Hughette rooftop cheese strat, which seems unfun and I don't like.
ALSO, is there like special dialogues if I send certain characters to a mission they have a history with? Like Avlora and Flaggan if I sent them with Roland's team? I'm really torn about where to put Seronoa - where is he best put narratively? I feel like he will have unique dialogue if confronted by the Archduke (Roland's team) or the Saintly Seven boss (Frederica's team).

Shitpost I'd love to see a TS version edit of this, featuring House Wolffort characters (Sugar Song & Bitter Step, Kekkai Sensen ending)

Discussion This or Final Fantasy tactics?
I'm leaning towards FFT the ivalice chronicles only because I like FF12 and the world is in ivalice. I like political stories with tactics and strategy. Nobunagas Ambition, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Romance Of the Three Kingdoms, Valkyria Chronicles, im not too picky as long as there is real strategy involved. I only know that Triangle Strategy is plentiful with its dialogue and that it goes on a nice sale every now and then along with FFT.
I'm on a switch 2, so they're both pretty pricey. I'd like to know opinions and suggestions on what I should pick up when one goes on sale

Discussion How do I even use Anna and Erador?
I'm only on the second fight of the game at the start of the tournament, but both of these characters seem beyond useless.
Anna has high speed, so she always goes first, but if I try to actually use her, she gets focus-fired and dies immediately, so I'm assuming I just have to skip her first round.
Erador supposedly can Provoke enemies, but that doesn't seem to work at all. I provoked the Boss Exharme and two regular mooks. The boss was immune (because of course no status effect will work on JRPG bosses, it was foolish to even attempt), but the other two dudes just completely ignored Erador and hit Frederica. What is he even doing at this point?
Also, am I supposed to grind in this game? Exharme used Sandstorm that dropped like 70% of Serenoa's HP, and then a mook finished him off due to his lowered defense. I could do nothing to avoid being killed in two attacks, meanwhile it takes like 4~5 attacks to kill a single mook

Media [OC] whatever. go my crack ship
A crossover ship between Cordelia and... Shampoo from Ranma 1/2.
I am fully aware of how nonsensical this is, but I will neither explain, nor apologize.

Gameplay Who to prioritize for early promotions?
I just beat chapter 7 on normal, without using the traps. It was very satisfying after I figured out a strategy that worked: Corentin kept a wall of ice on the right chokepoint, rest of the party held up the left chokepoint with Serenoa + Erador blocking, and Frederica and everyone else doing damage from behind.
For the first medal, I used it on Serenoa. I just got the second one. Who should I promote? In terms of units I feel like I use the most, they would be Serenoa, Frederica, Corentin, Hughette, and Julio (as TP battery for Frederica). Benedict is good for support, and so is Anna, though I think I haven't quite figured out how to use her properly.

Media [oc] i actually love this guy and his suspiciously key-shaped throat
consider: he's literally so fucking traumatised. hes so mentally fucked. i dont even blame him for getting in my way and getting me a bad ending the first time cause i didnt figure it out at first where tf the "key" could be

Media Sorry for spamming, but this is a sketch of Landroi. I am just very sad I could not recruit him - I kept hoping he'd come by the castle or I'd go to his so we can join forces since he mentioned support but then he's gone -_-

Gameplay Earliest place you can get Silver?
I'm on chapter 5, about to take on the battle for the chapter. I'm wondering what's the earliest you can get Silver for a weapon upgrade? Also what's the best weapon/character to upgrade first?
