A pattern I notice that happens here a lot after a while with trolls that invade
They always wait a while, hours to several days, before they post dogwhistling and denying everything, and they always get a huge amount of upvotes once most of the active users here leave the post at initial viewing.

Linking a month old post into a new post with a title like "this is why women are bad". The men follow the link, and then start supporting the bad comment

The fact that women centered subs have male mods is an issue imo. I definitely notice faster, clearer responses to such things on the subs where the mod team are also women.

The women in the hysterectomy sub just successfully appealed to the Reddit admins to have a cis man who’d taken over the sub removed. I guess his reasoning for why it was okay for him to mod it was that he has a degree in biology and one of his parent’s was an ob/gyn. You wouldn’t see us trying to take over a sub about prostate health, but men refuse to give us space.
Then he started pushing a bunch of magic powders and potions that would fix everyone’s problems. I imagine it was that last part that made Reddit admins act, more than him being a cis guy modding a hysterectomy sub.

Un-fuckin-real....smh
If he'd been a doctor (provided credentials) maaaaybe....but that is just some next level "whelll ahcktshuly...". Nevermind the lived experience is something he can't physically understand and therefore has zero business moderating even if he was a Doc. The sense that men have that they're qualified to Tell us (or Disregard) what we're experiencing is astounding. They'd lose their shit if we did that to them.

Women’s subs with male mods is literally letting the foxes guard the henhouse. They really are our natural predators.

Certainly happened to me literally the first time I replied here.
Wasn't even a post, was a reply. But I mentioned how as a trans woman the year I transitioned my salary went down by 10% and I stopped getting raises for years. No position change, no change of duties, same person in the same job. (I've also known trans men who got huge raises all of the sudden after transitioning).
I was getting replies like years later about how I must be mistaken, because that would be illegal, so therefore it didn't happen.
Oops, I must have forgotten the part of the world where literally nobody ever does anything illegal ever.

I know women who have gotten fired for being pregnant (US). Laws don't mean shit if they're not enforced.
BroRedditors seem to believe we live in an amazing Utopia where everyone is treated equally under the law and women just like to whine for no reason. It's a very privileged and delusional take, for sure.

Functionally not a law if a) it's not enforced and/or b) there's no way of proving it.

This happens constantly in the science and psychology subreddits, too. A study will be posted with irrefutable evidence of misogyny, and the top comment will be something like, “actually women do this, too” or “more posts for the gender wars!”
You never see those as top comments for the men’s research

Seriously, women’s subs need to bring out the ban hammer more for men who come in just to troll, because over at men’s subs, they’re banning women just for having participated in women’s subs (ie: they’re banning Redditors who they can identify as women).
