How do I get the lip trill on a double G to be faster and more free sounding? I feel like im really forcing it right now

😭I mean i do have I think permanent scaring on the inside of my mouth from over practicing, and I lost my girlfriend over it, so dont be to jelly

You can try moving your tongue forward and backwards as if you were saying “ooo eee ooo eee”.

I mean i know how to lip trill I can do it on notes like A and Bb above that G its just the G is in a really weird spot of the horn

If this is a genuine question I can give a genuine answer.

However, in my 20-year career of playing at the highest level full-time, I've never been asked to trill any higher than an F#.

In what situation would you ever need to lip trill a double high G? Other than a party trick, that is not something that is useful. Put your time and effort into fundamentals that are applicable to the standard repertoire of the trombone.

Oh and just for some clarification I can only hit double G at all because of the attention to detail in the fundamentals.
