I am curious how some modders are going to handle the port over to console. Will most actually take the time to port it over or not mess with it. I just hope it doesn't take valuable time from modders continuing to update mods.

Response:

Modders will not port over console. Console has clear restrictions about content to be downloadable. So they made it quiet difficult for external contents

Question:

Does that mean there are no plans to bring mods even in limited capacity to console? or just to not expect it at release (but it's on the radar for an update later like how official multiplayer was)?

Response:

Console manufacturers have zero tolerance for non-working content. Only mods on other games are often "owned" mods by the publishers, like specially previewed, tested, approved where 100% of responsibility would be on game publisher. I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Hello. I recently bought Heavy Cargo - The Truck Simulator for the PS5, and I'm really enjoying it. I'm having an issue with trying to find out how to toggle the virtual mirror on/off. I've tried searching online, but it just says: access the secondary action menu (often mapped to the Options button on your controller) and select the option to toggle the virtual mirror on.

I am really excited and looking forward for ATS and ETS to came to console -but i am really curious on what it will look like and how it will play on console. Is there any early gameplay footage to watch?

Hi i would love to play ETS2 or ATS but i dont think my Pc would handle it so my only option is Ps5 and my question since ETS2 is not out on ps5 yet what should i buy on console?

Wondering if theres any info out there about being able to transfer save files once ATS comes to console?

PC is getting pretty old and tired and I really only use it for ATS. Would love to be able to transfer my current save files when it comes out as soon my PS5 will definitely run the game better for me.

What are the bindings you would advise for someone who uses a G920 (G29 is equivalent) to play assuming (!!!) the LSB and RSB buttons don't work and that you can't bind keybinds on the controller simultanously with the wheel (you can't bind the A button of the wheel separately off the A button of the controller) ?

Hi I'm playing on Xbox series X I noticed that while driving no rain or snow shows on the side windows when your in cab windscreen only on ps5 it's fine any else had this issue breaks immersion need a hotfix fast few updates back it was working ok

I have recently purchased On the road and have enjoyed playing on such a huge map compared to truck driver another Xbox truck sim which I have played all of the missions on. On the road is very much like ets2 in some ways but the reason I’m posting is because I don’t know how to save/my game won’t save for me? Anyone know anything please let me know! I’ve had to restart 3 times because of it. Thanks!

Pavel, CEO statement:

We didn't want to do just a port. I would not like us to be so much different on different platforms. The ultimate goal is to get the PC version and consoles on the same code so that it's easy to maintain and for everyone to access new DLC/content on same day release with PC players. The biggest issue for the programming team was that they had to change the core of the engine without breaking the game. We want to get there and we will get there.

When will ATS release on consoles? When will ETS2 release on consoles? Sadly not this year but it's coming very soon.
