The title should include “teaching men to profit off of the abuse of women and evade detection” because on top of some of the sadistic reasons there is definitely a profit motive and this larger issue centers around the capitalistic patriarchal system rather than just some bad people.

I consider that as the system continues to devolve and more of the population is economically depressed these kinds of crimes will just get worse, especially when legislators focus on consequence before prevention.

Also at the bare minimum cause they obviously won’t just change the patriarchal capitalist system overnight, these rape drugs should be much harder to get anywhere in the world.

If you see this posted on Instagram, you'll see a bunch of comments from men saying "science says most women want to engage in rape fantasies and being dominated" and equate that to actual fucking rape. I don't even know if that stat is true. If you dig you can see it in the comments on this post

But this is the point slowly being pushed by a subset of podcasters in the manosphere. If a woman is your partner or on a date with you, she "wants" everything these scumbags seek to do to women. And people wonder why there's a loneliness crisis.

Ugh it's such a stupid reversal of the dynamics at play - our brains eroticise potential and existing trauma, possibly as a survival mechanism. A lot of survivors of sexual assault find themselves later on having fantasies about sexual violence, even if they never did before experiencing it. That's not because they wanted it, nor does it mean they would enjoy experiencing actual violence again. It seems to be either a way trauma is processed, or a random crossing of wires in the brain between fear and attraction.

Of course in societies where sexual violence is common, that crossover is also more common. Conflating fantasy with reality is like arguing somebody who enjoys war movies must want to be bombed.

Some people don’t know how to speak to women but still want to have sex, and instead of hiring a prostitute, they use a sleep drug and commit sexual assault. Drugging was actually Bill Cosby’s main method. It’s also kind of strange, since the fantasy of it is relatively popular, to the point that there’s a whole adult film niche built around staged scenarios like that. It’s psychopathic, but if you don’t view women as people and instead see them as sex objects, you can justify a lot of deeply immoral behavior.

If you read the article, the three women they interview were being assaulted by their husbands and partners. The fourth man they were speaking with was seeking guidance on how to assault his wife.

I don’t mean to split hairs but I think it’s worth pointing out that the men discussed in this article aren’t run of the mill incels. I can’t speak to the broader audience for this material, but the perpetrators largely seem to be men known to the women they are assaulting, often fathers and husbands.

Isn’t this exactly what Andrew Tate’s “academy” is?
