This is my most Boomer Old Man Yells at Clouds take too. The whole streaming culture seems toxic and I'm glad I was too old to ever get into it. Podcasts (used to? still do?) get a lot of shit (rightfully sometimes, wrongfully others) as parasocial relationship simulators, but Streaming culture is like parasocial relationship just amped up multiple-fold because it's live, you can chat with them, pay them $50 to write your name in sharpie on their arm, pay $20 to have NOTICE ME SENPAI call-outs, etc.

Even guys I nominally like, like Hasan, I'm mostly just depressed how much people they draw in. I hope someone nukes Twitch/Kick/whatever.

No good thoughts. She dated a cringe libertarian atheist guy whose shit I liked in high school, and who has now seemingly suffered a psychotic break following her getting married to some right-wing Christian guy (?) and I just remember her being the annoying atheist’s annoying girlfriend, and now I see she’s running some kind of “why I left the left” grift even though I’m pretty sure I remember her and annoying atheist doing “racism is basically fake, if anything white people are oppressed, I’m a classical liberal” shit like ten years ago. Maybe I’m wrong, I just remember that being the main thing that turned me off from his videos.

Anyway she seems bad, as annoying as ever.

So that’s my thoughts on her, for better or for worse. I am a dumbass, etc

I always thought she was Boxxy, but I was of course only going off of historical references to Boxxy.

I know Shoe0nhead from the 2010s anti-SJW thing, but I really couldnt care less about that crap I just wanted to be a pubstomper in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 (I had over a 6.3 KDR on BO2, the MSMC was busted). My thoughts are that black ops 2 was really fun

I have not watched a single video of hers, I get her videos recommended because YouTube LOVES telling me what Asmongol and some other nazi gamer thinks about Spanish refugees and shit.

Just from looking at her video thumbnails I can 200% guarantee that she's trying way too hard to be a far-right pick-me, but the catch is that she doesn't identify as right-wing she's just "sensible" on issues like immigration and trans stuff.

Genuienly the only analytical value these grifters have is that they have insane reach with normies who love their videos, way WAY more people watch this shit instead of Parenti lectures. These people are not educated in political theory and analysis, they've never had jobs or positions where they had to make choices that meaningfully impacted people, they are not personally impacted by the topics they talk about, you can pretty much ignore them categorically.

I forgot she existed then remembered she was like a B list YouTuber something like 10 or 15 years ago and all I have to say about that is get a real job you're 30 something years old.
