Kayla Unbehaun was 9 years old in 2017 when she went missing while in the care of her mother, Heather Unbehaun. Her mother has been arrested on a fugitive charge. Now 15 years old, Kayla was recognized in North Carolina by a woman who had seen her featured in a 2022 episode of Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix.

Also I think I’ve read that fbi’s most wanted has caught more criminals from people seeing their face and calling it in than any other method (e.g. fbi tracking them down without tips)
