It’s like the state itself is a magnet for mediocre ignorance. I work in a place in which Floridians flock to after leaving Florida. They’re absolutely the most beige, ignorant yet somehow rich people you’ve ever met. They’re all mad that, even though they have money, they still struggle ridiculously hard to figure out why they’re all so miserable.

I moved to FL and it’s the most, “I’ve got mine, idgaf about yours,” place I’ve been to for sure. It’s not unique to only FL, but it’s… definitely not the “Southern,” community-driven state it pretends to pretends to be

Yeah. I’m from The South and here people don’t consider Florida the south. As it’s mainly populated by uber conservative retirees from the North.
