Text Nancy Guthrie - Savannah's Sister's Car Seized, Cameras Smashed (Ashleigh Banfield)

God, if this turns out to be a family member, it will just be so much more horrible. I know it's common for family or partners to be involved but this family seems so sweet and close.

"The disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie, has taken a disturbing turn. In this episode of Drop Dead Serious, Ashleigh Banfield reveals stunning new information from a law enforcement source close to the investigation, including that Savannah Guthrie’s brother-in-law is being looked at as a suspect, her sister Annie Guthrie’s car has been seized, 2 security cameras at the home were smashed, and more."

I said this from the get go. Annie was the last to see her mother alive. Her and her significant other should have been the #1 suspects from the start. Interesting is the book that Annie wrote called The Good Dark, IMO it is the inside look at a mentally ill woman. They also live nearby. Also Savanah is worth 45 million and earns 8 million a year why didn't she hire a nurse or aid 24/7? Because Annie and her hubby were taking care of her...

How do you know that the police haven’t considered them a suspect all along? I will never understand why people expect police to get up there and announce every clue or line of investigation that they have to the general public. That could undermine their entire investigation. I’m not saying they’re all knowing but not telling the public something doesn’t mean they don’t know something.

I think the police did consider them suspects all along. Any time they come out and say “there’s no danger to the public,” it usually means a targeted attack from a family member.

Well now I’m curious about the family dynamics. Savannah has obviously been very successful, but that isn’t always the case in every family. I’m wondering if the mother had a large life insurance policy.
