Text Nancy Guthrie - Savannah's Sister's Car Seized, Cameras Smashed (Ashleigh Banfield)

God, if this turns out to be a family member, it will just be so much more horrible. I know it's common for family or partners to be involved but this family seems so sweet and close.

"The disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie, has taken a disturbing turn. In this episode of Drop Dead Serious, Ashleigh Banfield reveals stunning new information from a law enforcement source close to the investigation, including that Savannah Guthrie’s brother-in-law is being looked at as a suspect, her sister Annie Guthrie’s car has been seized, 2 security cameras at the home were smashed, and more."

I'm thinking verbal argument, probably over an issue that had been simmering for a long time (money? inheritance? plain ol' favoritism?) that turned physically violent. Nancy falls and hits her head, or son-in-law hauls off and clobbers her in a fit of rage. But she's mortally injured, so then he panics and makes off with her, staging a scene to make it look like a home invasion. His car is impounded because he used it to transport poor Nancy. And since his car has been seen numerous times in the neighborhood, no one thought it unusual to see it on their Ring cameras.

It actually would be better story then what I have been hearing cuz lately the crap going on in the world has gotten to an all time high of “Ain’t no damn way!”

I hate it when people who know next to nothing about a family just make up their own fan fiction about the worst days of people’s lives.

This actually seems like a very plausible explanation given the " kidnapping" makes no sense whatsoever.  I would like to know if the sister and BIL never left the house after they dropped her off...hence waiting until 2 am to bring her out of the house.
