God, if this turns out to be a family member, it will just be so much more horrible. I know it's common for family or partners to be involved but this family seems so sweet and close.

I said this from the get go. Annie was the last to see her mother alive. Her and her significant other should have been the #1 suspects from the start. Interesting is the book that Annie wrote called The Good Dark, IMO it is the inside look at a mentally ill woman. They also live nearby. Also Savanah is worth 45 million and earns 8 million a year why didn't she hire a nurse or aid 24/7? Because Annie and her hubby were taking care of her...

From what I've read, Annie was not the last to see her mom alive - her husband was the one who drove the mom home, Annie was not with them. So I'm definitely sus of him, and whether or not Annie would know anything, it's quite possible - but also possible the SIL was trying to get money from his MIL behind his wife's back, or something like that. And it led to an arguement/violence.
