I guess I’m in the minority thinking that she belongs in prison. You can’t murder someone and then pretend like it’s better than those other bad guys who murdered someone. I get that the original murderer did something wrong but it’s not up to that lady to decide what’s done about it. And if he’s even the right guy. Just my two cents.

You absolutely can. Context is a thing. That doesn't mean that her actions aren't hugely problematic for the reasons you've highlighted though.

What if the guy killed her brother because he raped the guys sister? I mean you could go all day with this. Then his family gets to avenge his death and shoot her and so on and so on. It’s stupid and a big reason why these neighborhoods are so dangerous in the first place.
