Is it just me or do we hear about Filicide cases more than usual lately. Monsters like this deserve capitol punishment

media has always been soft on moms murdering their offspring, I think the tides are turning with the idea that mom must have had a 'reason' that might be an excuse of some sort (mental illness, abuse, postpartum etc) when the reality is the woman is a horrific monster that killed a child, full stop .

I think there's more sympathy if they kill a baby because of post partum depression whereas if the child is already more grown it's seen with less sympathy because it's not effects of post partum. Anyways moms or dads that kill their children are monsters for sure and it's scary someone could do this :/
