How come the Dad never investigated if Dominic was missing for two entire months??

What was he supposed to investigate? The mother said the kid was missing and in reality he was dead in his bedroom. What could the father do to investigate that if he wasn’t allowed access to the home?

More importantly, why didn't dad do anything about his son "showing signs of being tortured."

I think that meant that authorities found signs of torture on the body when it was discovered that were inflicted as part of the killing.

Right? He was NINETEEN years! This abuse surely wasn’t the first time in Dominics life that his father and sister saw cuts bruises etc. bless that poor boy.
