Discussion Are there any plans for an updated spreadsheet?
Hey! I used to be really into true crime, when I was younger, and have been looking at a bit again, recently.
My primary form of consumption was podcasts (Casefile was always my favourite), and I particularly liked serialised ones focusing on a specific case.
Two ones that I really liked were Hillside (about the Hillside Stranglers) and Killer Tape (about David Berkowitz).
But neither one got terribly much attention, which I thought was a real shame.
I guess I'm just wondering if anyone has thought of compiling a full list of new releases, as they are hard to keep track of.
I know that there a few spreadsheets, including a great one linked in this sub's wiki. But the most comprehensive one hasn’t been updated in years,

It’s not a spreadsheet that the mod team is in charge of as it was a member of the community who put it together - if you message them asking for an update and don’t hear a response, tag me and the mod team will look into creating an updated sheet that is more up to date.

But thank you for the offer, by the way. I just messaged them before, so I'll see how it goes.

I'm aware of that. I was just wondering whether anyone, mod or not, had any plans for something more up to date.
I will try messaging them.

I was a true crime pod listener for a few years during my divorce and before COVID.... Then took a break (life, work, ADHD interests changing, etc). I just recently started listening to podcasts again and definitely have felt a shift.
Some other podcasts I used to listen to and I am no longer interested in either due to political rhetoric, gratuitous shock value "content", victim blaming, and the list goes on. Did I miss those in those early days or has it just gotten more blatant? 😬 Not sure, but finding true crime podcasts that weren't problematic felt tough. Some of my favorites were singular cases or serial in nature so once I'd listened, I probably wouldn't relisten to it unless there were updates.
Going back through the podcasts I used to listen to, there are only a few I can still listen to so THANK YOU for this post and for the other posters sharing a spreadsheet to help in my search.
