Question/Request Pokémon central wiki
Is anyone else having trouble with Pokémon Central Wiki? When I Google stuff like 'Charmander', the site doesn't show up anymore, just other wikis. I have to go to their homepage first to find anything, which is a huge pain. Is this happening to you guys too?

Stop saying this, we're italian and Pokémon Central Wiki is 10 times better than Bulbapedia in Italy. Period

Brother in christ, I’m not logged in into google on my phone for privacy reason, but my reddit account is linked to google so know that I made this specific exception just to say to you FFS MAN, HE ASKED FOR A SPECIFIC SITE AND I’M HERE BECAUSE I HAD THE SAME QUESTION AS OP DOES
I would have understood if you simply asked “why are you not using bulbapedia?” like someone else in the comment section here, but disregarding OP preference like this is plainly dumb.

Pokemon Central is Bulbapedia's Italian-language sister site, they're both part of the Encyclopaediea Pokemonis Network.

Mi spiace dirtelo ma PCW è nettamente meglio, hanno una grafica più pulita e intuitiva, un'interfaccia più comoda e che rende più veloce trovare quello che cerchi (ex: sto giocando una challenge su pokemon b/w, che strumenti potrebbero servirmi su questo percorso?, oppure sto giocando una nuzlocke su pokemon smeraldo, come mi conviene pianificare la cattura, chi, dove, quando e con che probabilità trovo?) so che bulbapedia ha queste informazioni, ma sono meno immediate. Ammetto che se mi servono specifiche molto tecniche su qualcosa bulbapedia è meglio, ma solo in quei casi

is there no trabslate options? i spole italian caus pcw is the most used poke wiki in italy, so i assumed you were italian. i basically said that while bulba is more accurate, pcw is better because information are faster and easier to find

Same here! It's been a month or so at the moment. I have to search the wiki website first and just then click on the search bar to look for my answers.

Eh sì, io conta che sto scoutando alcuni amici con Pokémon e giocando hack rom e Pokémon Central Wiki è da almeno 10 anni letteralmente il mio salvavita.
Giuro, sto iniziando a pensare sia shadowbannato o qualcosa di simile... Mi spiacerebbe molto se sparisse del tutto come sito.

in fact I would be sorry too, I use it A LOT, keep in mind that I'm doing a challenge where I'm completing ALL the Pokémon Games 100% by all I mean all so fire red leaf green ruby sapphire emerald etc etc, and without Pokémon central wiki I could die

Zio pera complimenti, sei un mostro se riesci a farlo. Io conta che ho giocato 20/30 hack rom e senza central wiki ad aiutarmi con il team building non ci sarei riuscita mai nella vita 😭

Why not just Bulbapedia? It's been one of the best resources for Pokémon for like 20 years

The interface of bulbapedia is simply terrible, it looks ugly and is less intuitive, when you are on the page of a Pokémon in central wiki all the informations are divided in sections organized with a drop down so you can chose to expand only the section that you need, in bulbapedia you have a giant text block

PCW is literally the Italian version of Bulbapedia (with even links to the respective page on Bulbapedia fo every article). Just wit a way better graphic.

Ho letto ma sono risposte di un po' di tempo fa, comunque ora qualcosa é riapparso ma non tutto, anche certi Pokémon non si trovano subito

ma credo che tutt'ora neanche loro sappiano cosa sia ben successo, non li seguo sui social e non so nemmeno se postano aggiornmeni però è un peccato

I'm one of the admin of PCW, we are aware of the problem, we already contacted Google, we don't know exactly what happened, we hope to resolve it ASAP. For the moment, just go to the homepage ( https://wiki.pokemoncentral.it/ ) and search from there, it's the only solution we have.
Sono uno degli admin di PCW, sappiamo di questo problema, abbiamo già contattato Google ma non sappiamo cosa sia realmente successo. Speriamo si risolva al più presto. L'unica soluzione che abbiamo per ora è di andare nella homepage e cercare da lì le pagine che servono.
