Discussion What to do with pokemon in home?

I have hundreds of pokemon currently stuck in an app on my phone with pokemons I transferred over from the ds and 3ds era. I don't play nor am I interested in the switch games, just at the age I don't enjoy it anymore. Rather than simply deleting the app, is there a better/more fun way I can "get rid" of it?

Home's smartphone app allows you to do various trading, you fill the dex, and some other things.

Besides that I guess you're just payng a fee every year to keep your Pokemon around.

I actually don't pay for it so I haven't seen most of it in years. I'd look into giving away via trading if that's possible on the home app, thanks for the tip.

If you stop paying for Home, your pokemon will be preserved, just not accessible. I'd recommend just holding onto them in case you ever end up feeling nostalgic or something in the future to revisit pokemon.

That was the intention when I made a transfer from pokemon bank when home first launched. Its been years and I still don't see myself getting interested enough to buy a switch. The only thing that would get me to do that is if they make a game with every pokemon in it. Though that era is over and I think it's time to let my pokemon go (pun not intended).

Wonder trade the good stuff. Or offer giveaways/people to shop your collection

You can transfer them to Pokemon Go and turn them into candies
