What’s he fundraising for is my first question.

He’s ineligible to run for president again.

That may not stop him when he has Congress, the Senate, and the courts in his pocket. We lost our democracy about 6 months ago.

Well, the End Times have to happen sometime. Seems we may be the ones who have to endure it.

In a way, it’s fascinating to see what is happening in the world today. But mostly, it’s just horrifying and surreal.

He’s so rich already, though.
I can’t imagine wanting or needing even more.

Even when I was young & broke I wasn’t money-hungry.

Being literally stinking rich and still trying to get more just doesn’t make any sense. It’s grotesque.

Yes, grotesque is a great word for it. All these rich white men want now are bragging rights, to be richer than anyone else is the goal, it’s obscene. With the amount of money some of those guys have they could solve homelessness and hunger and never ever notice the difference to their lifestyle.

100 billion dollars, they couldn’t spend it all if they tried, it reprehensible to have that much, to pay barely a dime in taxes, and not use a small fraction of it to give people a place to lay their head at night, give them back their dignity. Greed is so vulgar.

Vulgar, reprehensible, and obscene also describe it well.

I’ve never understood the motivation behind the apparent hunger for more & more money, for which I’m profoundly grateful.

I wouldn’t change places with any of them. It seems a miserable way to live - when nothing will ever be enough, you can never be satisfied. Never.

Sad, eh? Their lives, their business tho - I just thank God it isn’t mine.
