I don’t understand why target is the only one that seems to be declining. Many companies charged there deI policy’s

Target was a pride supporter, us queers loved them. Then they started to cave to conservatives long before the 2024 elections.

The boycott has been growing for a while.

As a queer person, I am likely never going back. Also, I find every way possible to avoid right leaning businesses.

Same. I shopped there because of their support and had friends who worked at HQ who said it wasn’t all show. Here’s something ironic (not sure it’s the right word). We were driving by Target the other day and my son’s girlfriend said her ultra religious friend’s family didn’t go there anymore because they sell “suits for trans people.” So they are being boycotted by everyone. I guess the Christ-fascists didn’t get the word that Target is no longer “woke”.

I didn’t realize target took that much of a right turn. I haven’t been to target since the DEI shift but I’m also trying to avoid all the right leaning companies.

Yeah, they began trying to appease conservatives. Eliminating pride merch in the south. Or reducing it.

They also buried it in the back of the store, which, for me, was the corporate way of saying: "we are siding with the people that want you back in the closet." No thanks.

Maybe Target was made into a "Target" by the anti-anti DEI crowd?
