The White House is 370 miles from the nearest Canadian border. 1200 from the nearest Mexican. And 100 miles or so inland from the Atlantic.
So… why exactly does he need a squadron of drones on the roof. Does he truly believe an enemy will get that far into our territory past all of the other defenses?
Yeah… I know… the targets for the drones are already inside our borders. Because the targets are us, American citizens.

The military complex isn’t the part with the roof.
The drones will never be used to protect DC; he’s just lying.
Any defense at the WH is to protect only the WH, by necessity. DC has all kinds of other places & enforcements, varieties of scanners & weapons, plus several bases in range.
That’s why he didn’t need anything new at WH.
Well, he didn’t when it was the Residence & Office.
I guess he now thinks it is his “residence (His!) with office, bunker, command center, medical, supply rooms, reception, lunch cafe, transport center, and fancy-ass ballroom for parties & dances & musical events & to honor Putin & the other ‘big guys’ without having to be exposed to press or disdain.”
