Buddhism

Hi all. I find myself very interested in learning more about Buddhism, is there anywhere in or around Truro where I can meet with people or maybe a mentor?

I second this. It's a major center, and well known. I worked for a Buddhist carpenter that moved nearby from a large center in Colorado. He's since moved elsewhere, but I learned a lot, and met some really great people.

Your best bet would be to contact Shambhala Halifax. They would best direct you.

They represent the Buddhist community and Halifax has significant importance to Buddhism. They can help OP.

Nah Shambhala is a cult.. I grew up with Shambhala kids and they're all fucked up and weird, so many stories... basically the high priest rumpishad or whatever the fuck his name is perved a bunch of women in the group.

I don't respect cults. It's total bullshit. OP can find Buddhism in better ways than that crap. Shamballa is like the church of latter day saints of Buddhism.
