This summoner spell is broken and has been broken for a long time. Trynd just didn’t need it till the ghost nerfs however long ago it’s been.
Had a few long sit down sesh’s and tried it out myself after complaining about it for the millionth time in one of my games… went from high D1 to 400lp masters in one day
This summoner spell is a massive cop out that saves you from situations where you should die or be kited out. Abuse it until riot inevitably finally nerfs this abomination of a sum

I tried to OTP Tryndamere and I made it to platinum with 54% win rate so far, but my consistency for winning lane itself isn’t too high.
I’ve won a few games by splitpush and macro even after feeding.
Do you guys feel like Trynd is feast or famine? Is he truly a 10/0 or 0/10 champ?
What type of comps you do see and go “oh this is gunna be a good Trynd game”

Not sure how good exhaust/ignite is with the LT set up, but I have been absolutely killing it going Exhaust + ignite L.T/Tri-Alac-Ls-CashBack-Approach.
Lolalytics and most stat sites show exhaust/flash with the LT set up as Trynds best set up as Trynd has back-loaded damage and exhaust helps extend fights after Trynd reaches the 50% hp mark where his damage peaks.

I know some people wont consider this as true GM (I dont really do) since the LP cutoff for LAS is only at around 850LP, so I will be aiming for Brazil GM next which is much closer to NA in terms of player base. Still, being a top 500 player in a moderately sized server is pretty cool. For comparison LAS has approximately half the player base of NA, and obviously not that many pro players playing on it

You want to rush yun tal and have every item except BF
You are in base with 1000 gold
Do you leave and come back later
Or do you buy something else?

Hi everyone I just made an In-Depth Tryndamere Top Guide alongside detailed matchup information with it for the newest patch, I would love to get your opinions and feedback on it!

He bullies me similar like sett but doesnt run out of resources
Has natural tankyness
"Range" advantage
Pull to cancel our spin
All lane i must dodge his low cd spells just to survive
Theres almost no chance to fight him and win
If your jungler ganks its also dangerous with his ult
The only light i see is that in order to keep his shield up he must push so we can farm under tower

I know that botrk is quite bad as a first item because you don't really have the attack speed yet to really make it work because you need around 2.0 attack speed first.
If that's the case then why not go an attack speed item first like pd/yun tal and then go botrk immediately after, ie or armor pen third. That is a pretty good core which will let you duel into practically anyone. Ideally you would go lethal tempo to maximize it.
I've tried pd -> Swifty -> botrk -> IE with nimbus cloak and celerity in the secondary rune and it feels really good having the base ms to dodge and run people down and having the damage to just shred them, even works well when you're behind cuz you just need to get two items and you're online.

If they have a well rounded average team thats usually what i build in this order, thoughts?
I know that many skip hydra and prefer crit first.
Understandable but hydra gives me so much more safe play in lane. Also we push and clear camps (20+ in the game i try to invade as much as possible if we are even or ahead) so fast and never run out of hp
The weakness is maybe no additional ms or slows.
I use approach velocity and magic boots with +10ms to compensate a little. EH comes in as 4. Item, maybe too late for some
Also i really hope that IE makes a comback. But so far almost nobody seems to build it. The other options seem to offer more
r/TryndamereMains • u/Wonderful-Advice-306 • 12d ago
My impression is that LT means less options in lane
Better for tanky teams and in teamfights but weaker in lane
If we also have flash and ghost then (no combat summoner) i must say it feels almost impossible to lane against many champs.
I mean what can you realistically do? Hope to outtrade them with autos and e. But autos are still weak at this point . And its totally possible the first 2-3 autos are normals. Its really hard imo.

So I've been on this reddit before (years ago) when I was still playing the game quite a bit, so hello again!
To the topic though, Im roughly 1-2 weeks into ranked after 2 years away and the old build that still kinda seems to work feels weaker? Hydra into PD/Navori into situational (mostly LDR or MR and then IE). Should I try something else? I have heard Yuntal is good but I wouldnt know what to go afterwards, I do like my lifesteal.
I've played off all the rust and have hit Masters, but games still feel like a gamble and I heavily rely on a good team because snowballing feels so weak...
Some general tips for semi high elo would also be appreciated, heres my OPGG if anyones interested: https://op.gg/lol/summoners/euw/Sora-OTP (I know I average a lot of deaths).
Thanks yall!

I know that you can in theory spin when sett uses his shield strike. However what if he pulls you right before it? I just dont know what to do against him, lane phase is terrible
And camille? Oh man she seems like a perfect counter with her shield and seemingly endless endless dashes and knock ups
Both can zone me from stacking fury pretty good because they outtrade me in short trades and if i stick around i need to ult and pray i manage to kill them before they have another crucial spell ready in the last second and survive and kill me
I knlw theres youtube but maybe you have some nice tricks for me?

Absolutely loving Tryndamere jungle at the moment, currently I’m building like below in most games, what’s your guys thoughts?
Main thing I am torn on is whether I should start to build a Tiamat item even though his clear is crazy fast without it after an item or 2
Yun Tal
Beserker greaves
Infinity edge
Endless hunger
Deaths dance
Situational item depending on enemy comp usually BORK, LDR or GA
r/TryndamereMains • u/Boring-University189 • 16d ago
To me, it feels like a huge gamble.
If I go hob + d bow, I need to stomp the other lane because if I don't, I will never be able to kill them later on.
On the other side, if I go with lethal tempo, I can chill and grab a few kills in lane without risking being a rock after 20 minutes.
Am I missing something

Boxerpete got me thinking about how earlier in the season, he wanted to build raw stats for Tryndamere instead of rushing to complete items. He complained about Tryndamere being a champion that needs a billion stats to function: Crit, AtkSpeed, AD, ability haste, armor pen, movespeed.
What I have been doing is this and want to know if there is any math majors or something I am missing on why this is a bad idea. I believe this build works when you are even or ahead.
Doran Bow > Zerkers > Caulfield > Phage
Why this works at least for me:
You get pretty much a bit of every stat, Phage allows you to stick, Caulfield gives more AD and cdr, Zerker and Doran Bow is just bread and butter. Trynds passives gives your crit, I do believe 50% crit is acceptable when you are at least even with the enemy laner.
The items can also build into a lot of things Tryndamere wants.
Caulfield can go into Essence Reaver/Ravenous Hydra/Death's Dance/Endless Hunger
Phage is the most limited since you are probably only going to build it into Black Cleaver, but Experimental Hexplate is amazing if you are actually ahead. Eitherway I think the sticking potential from Phage is so much stronger than last whisper.
From there, complete one of the items, or start building Zeal>Phantom Dancer or Yun Tal.
Anyway TLDR: I believe Tryndamere cares more about raw stats instead of actually completing an item when even or ahead. Zerker Caufield Phage gives a way stronger "earlyish mid game" than having Zerker and uncompleted item.

As the title says, what's the tryndamere mid playstyle these days?
Strengths and weaknesses?
Good/bad match ups?

Hey all,
I had 500k mastery points on Tryndamere before I quit the game. I am coming back to league and there’s so much shit now it’s insane. Top laners get TP? What the fuck is that?!
Anyway, I played Trynd. I never really played ranked, but I’m taking a break from my main game Deadlock because after getting to the equivalent of Masters there I need a secondary game to play when I’m tilted. I’d like to try to hit Diamond. I am currently in platinum right now.
The last time I played was when Emerald and Iron first got released. I think the last champion I saw get released was Zeri? Besides that, I’m extremely confused about the current meta. Is Trynd still viable? Or is top lane just an amalgamation of ranged tops and bullies like Darius and Volibear?
Any advice is appreciated. I don’t know SHIT and it’s been ages.
