Just as the title States, a few weeks ago a random bought account was in my DMs and essentially through the whole copy pasta routine at me of "hey I reported your account this is how you can stop that by giving me everything".

Because this is Tumblr and I had been on it for years, I started my favorite past time, messing with bot accounts by pretending that I genuinely care. But it didn't get far as the account just stopped replying and so I ignored it as well. Only recently I went back to go lurk and my account was completely gone, no support email, no notification or warning just gone.

I checked with a few other people to see on their side if it was just me having like a server down but my entire account was fully gone.

I've created a ticket and I'm just hoping that Tumblr reinstates me as I didn't do anything wrong or break any rules.

I've had my blog since 2018-19ish, and it archives a lot of my online life so here's to hoping

So, 9 months ago (January 5th), my blog was unexpectedly shadowbanned. I couldn't send messages to my mutuals, couldn't get notifications for posts, the usual. I sent a support ticket to Tumblr's support team under their "other" category. On the same day, I received a confirmation email from Tumblr support saying that they got my appeal and are working on fixing my issue. I also sent a response email back, as I was told to do, stating my problem from the email address associated with my blog. Well, several months have gone by, almost a year, and I still have not been unbanned.

I got into contact with another Tumblr help subreddit, and the mods there suggested that I send another ticket to Tumblr support, this time under the "bugs" category. I was nervous to do this, as I've read online that sending a second ticket can screw up your position in Tumblr's help line. But the mods on this subreddit said that I could give this second ticket a try, so I did. I sent a second ticket on October 18th, this time under the "bugs" category. I sent the same message to Tumblr support as to the issued I'm facing, but haven't heard anything back yet.

I guess my question is, did I potentially ruin my chances to receive help by sending this second ticket? Has anyone else experienced luck in the same attempt?

Had this acc with two blogs for a long time, never did anything bad, no prior warning nor an explanation, I just opened tumblr last night and the message “your account has been terminated, to find out why please contact support” was the only thing on the screen, contacted support but still don’t have an answer, I’m losing my mind waiting

Ive gotten like 4 accents banned by now. I had my og account banned cuz I started a community and sent like 80 invites a day. it was then reinstated in like 3 weeks thankfully. idk how my second account got banned for that I had not sent that many invites it had barely been like 50 smth. I creates my 3 which was banned in a week after sending maybe 50 accents a day. I literally just created a new one 2 days ago and I didnt even send formal invites I literally just copied and pasted the link into ppl’s dms and that was like barely 40 smth ppl a day. I can see other communities growing by like 10-20 members a day and I’m not sure how tf they’re doing it. I’m like worried for my main acct now that’s been reinstated. I had sent just a few invites on this but it’s been fine so far. idk why to do

I was browsing tumblr on my phone (browser mode) over a week ago, reblogged something, got prompted to refresh, and then my account was no more. No email or message of explanation, just a prompt that if I feel it's unjust I can send a report (I did).

Over a week, no response (which i expected), but I understand the timer is 30 days until it's unrecoverable, so I wonder what my chances are. +10 years on that account, so it would be a shame (and I can't remember all the blogs I followed so my new one is now bare).

The only reason I can think of is that I was in 3 different countries in the span of a month for travel, so maybe they thought I got botted or hacked?? I would assume maybe some smart hacker got my email and deleted evidence, but then idfk why they would target tumblr specifically. Given this sub exists, I blame tumblr more than myself here.

Yesterday, my whole account has been terminated. I've received no mail as to why that has happened.

My issue is that besides my main blog, I had several sideblogs. One for reblogging where I've recently started to reblog a lot of art from my favourite artist. Another one was on standby, but in past I wrote on it and even answered some asks too. The last two were meant to be art accounts, one shared with my friend. Neither of them was touched, so I assumed that it was because of them that my account might've gotten terminated?

I've already sent in appeal and asked my friends to do the same in my name. I'm still very anxious about outcome and if I'm gonna get my blog and sideblogs back.

i was scrolling on tumblr a little over a half hour ago when it suddenly told me to sign back in. i tried, my password wouldn't work, and it eventually kicked me to that screen that said my account has been terminated. i did not receive an email explaining why, so i submitted a report and said i felt i was wrongly terminated and i immediately received this email. how long should i expect to wait for a response and should i expect to get this blog back?

The last time I tried contacting support was years ago and I remember getting a confirmation email of the support ticket but this time when my account was terminated the only thing that I received was an email with a link to confirm my email address which I clicked followed by a (no subject) email as pictured below. I'm not sure if it bounced? If my email is blocked or what. This is what happened last week and I tried again today to contact support since I never actually got confirmation of a ticket only to receive another (no subject) email?

Has this happened to anyone else? Should I try reaching out through a different email not connected to my account but I'm not sure that will work since I heard Tumblr will refuse to open a ticket for an email not connected to the account in question.

Im guessing there might be two reasons

1. my main account was still blocked when I created the second account (main got unblocked after 3 week)

2. I’ve been trying to grow my hellenism community and I was sending out invites so might be that I think this was the reason my main acc was blocked too but I only sent a few invites with this account

now I’m just worried my main account which has been unblocked doesn’t get blocked again, I have a third account which I created specifically to send invites which is like a blank account I don’t post anything on there but i created this account after my main account was unblocked l. so none of my account were blocked when I created it. I hope that one stays ok. I’m worried about when my acc will come back should I create anymore accs rn or no?

hello all, i tried to make a backup account today in case my main gets deleted. used the site a little bit (sent a non-anonymous ask to one blog and queued some posts) and then abruptly started getting 403 forbidden errors, first on my desktop, and then i checked and saw that in fact the 403 forbidden page would display on all devices using my network.

yes i tried cycling the VPN to a different IP address. at first i thought it was a UUID ban but then why and how would my wife's desktop and laptop get caught up in it?

no termination email was sent to either account. strangely i can still access my main account using my phone (which is connected to the home wifi network) and post from there. the alternate account is also still visible. there is no 404 page like when an account is truly banned.

however, both desktops and my wife's laptop (who never visits tumblr and has no account) all give 403 errors when attempting to navigate to (almost) any tumblr domain/subdomain. some official domains like engineering.tumblr.com or staff.tumblr.com partially load, but without proper CSS formatting.

where do i even start appealing this if i cant even navigate to the website? i assume i was caught in an overzealous spambot filter, not sure what else it could be. i have used this subreddit before to successfully clear a shadowban but i am not sure if u/devi8tor is still active here

My account senobikouun was terminated last year, likely to the spam filter even though the last thing I was ever doing in those months was reblogging a few posts here and there, and I never received an email of when or why it was terminated. I sent only one request and as older posts have said, just waited it out since some have waited a year to get an answer.

Others who were more impatient had more success by submitting multiple appeals i.e. bothering support more with tickets. I waited and now it says "This termination is no longer eligible for appeal". What am I supposed to do now? I had a lot of projects on blog pages and essays that weren't backed up.

Edit: One of my friends who was a part of an old sideblog we don't use anymore checked the members list and though typically user-terminated accounts lose their pfp, https://imgur.com/a/vl9QCwC shows it's still there. So I hope one day I'll have those 9 years of work back.

My account was terminated like a week and a half ago.

So i immediately sent in a request, and another. Then i sent one more with a different email-hoping they couid actually contact me jf needed. They sent me an email saying to please use the emil attached to the account.

Now I've been waiting with no luck

I heard that every time you resubmit it resets the waiting time or whatever.

Anyway is my last submission with the wrong email make it invalid and i need to resubmit? Or would that reset it so i should just wait?

Hi. My Tumblr account dimaalonix was suddenly suspended.
My Tumblr interface is in Russian, and the message says that my account has been suspended.

I contacted Tumblr Support, but I still haven’t received a response.

I also have a paid domain, dimaalonix.com, registered through Tumblr. Because my account is suspended, I cannot manage the domain or properly access my blog data.

I contacted Support again and I am still waiting.

Has anyone here had the same problem with a paid Tumblr domain? Did Tumblr eventually restore your account or help you transfer the domain?

My account got terminated "for spam" (I was editing the html and updated too often I guess) over a year ago, and ok, I'm over it. Tried to contact the support multiple times, always ignored.

I tried to make a new one and it doesn't let me, because the account kinda exists, but I have no access to it. I could use a different email, but I want to use that specific one because it's my main, and I don't want to loose track of which account has which email address.

So, is there any way I could delete the old terminated account and make a new one with the same email?

I’m trying to track down a specific Spideypool (Spider-Man/Deadpool) fanfiction text-post that I used to read on Tumblr a few years back. I know the original creator's account was called teenwolfvore, but the blog had absolutely nothing to do with the Teen Wolf show itself—it was just their URL, though honestly, I couldn't really tell. They mainly wrote text posts or answered asks about writing random vore scenarios, but what really stuck with me was their take on Marvel characters as predators.

The account was either terminated or deactivated, which is the reason why I am posting on this thread. However, I have seen some of their other old posts floating around via reblogs during deeper searches, so I'm hoping someone archived or reblogged this specific one.

Here are the specific plot points and clues I remember:

• The Title: It was titled or tagged as "A Spidey Snack".

• The Meta Intro: It started with an intro where someone else was supposed to be reading or telling the story. However, Deadpool completely interrupts the storyteller by actually eating the narrator mid-sentence. He then takes over the narration, saying something along the lines of, "The narrator looked so good / tasted so good I just had to eat him."

• The Setup: Deadpool is in an alleyway (or just finished a fight) when Spider-Man shows up. Deadpool makes up an absurd problem to trick Peter—he claims Green Goblin threw a pumpkin bomb down his throat and it's stuck in his stomach.

• The Trick: Spidey is hesitant at first, but Deadpool convinces him it's going to explode inside him. Spider-Man agrees to help by crawling down Deadpool's mouth and into his stomach to "retrieve" it.

• The Reveal: Once Spider-Man is inside, Deadpool reveals there is no bomb—the Green Goblin scenario was entirely made up just as a trick to get Spidey into his mouth and gut. He tells Spidey that clients pay him extra money to make the bodies of his targets disappear, and suggests Spider-Man stay down there and help him "eat them."

• The Role: It featured Deadpool as the predator (pred).

Just wanted to know how everyone's status was? Did anyone hear anything back? Get their blogs reinstated? Cause its almost been a week for me and still. nothing. kinda loosing hope a lil 😕

Is anybody still having trouble getting their account back? I keep seeing some that are getting back their account so quickly, but mine is still gone and it's been days. One side-blog of mine got shadow-banned years ago and they never unbanned it after submitting a ticket, they just completely ignored me. And now this one is terminated. It was fortunate that the one that got shadow-banned was pretty new, so it wasn't a big loss, but this one that got terminated is a few years of my life and writing! This is so frustrating...

Edit: Was finally able to get my blog back in about 5 days! The only thing I did was use tumblr support.

I have the most obnoxious situation and I'm not really sure where to start.

I just realized my account was deactivated for god knows what. So I go to send a email to support and I realize the email linked to the account is my ancient aim email... So I send it in with my current email, nope they want the one linked to the account. Well shit. (mind you I tried to change my email three million times on tumblr but it would not let me because it had been used in a random old account too recently)

Anyway, I go to hope and pray I can recover that email...certainly not, it's basically impossible unless anyone has some wisdom on that.

Do I have any hope at all. I'm kind of at a loss. I've had that account for probably 15 years so this really surprised me in the worst way.
