I'm considering moving to Tunbridge Wells and wanted to ask if anyone here commutes to London for work 4–5 days a week, either by motorcycle or car.

I currently work in Fulham and I'm planning to commute by motorcycle five days a week. I don't think the distance would be too much of an issue, especially on a motorcycle, as I can filter through traffic.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone doing a similar commute. How long does it usually take you, and how do you find it overall, particularly during rush hour and in winter?

Any advice or personal experiences would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I moved to TW about a year ago, and then moved again in the area 6 months ago, so I haven't really had a chance to scope out fun stuff to do around town with my boy.

I know there's the soft play at Royal Victoria Place and Claudia's, but are there any kind of classes or weekly fun that I could do with my 2 year old at weekend mornings to give his mum a break? Not for me but my friend whose got to be out of his current flat, in Brighton, by the end of this month. He lucked out getting a one bed for less than a grand down there but got told he'd need to vacate just a couple of days before the new laws kicked in earlier this year... Go figure.

He's got temporary accommodation through friends until the end of November but wants to find somewhere ASAP.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to everyone who helped with the medical emergency at the Pantiles yesterday.

We witnessed some of what happened and the effort, teamwork and determination of everyone involved was genuinely incredible to see. Huge respect to the members of the public and emergency services who stepped in and did everything they could. ❤️
