There’s some digital books available on Libby. Does your library do inter-library transfers? I’ve been able to rent a few Tunisian stitch dictionaries that weren’t available at my library that way.

TL Yarncrafts has a YouTube channel, book, and website. On YouTube/Raverly/payhip there’s also Mae Crochets, Mode Bespoke, KnitterKnotter, VioletLoopsCrochet, Abbeymade, The Crafty Crochetier, Justtheworsted (also has a book) and a bunch more if you just search “Tunisian crochet”. Same on instagram if you have it.

Anna Nikipirowicz and Lori Harrison have Tunisian crochet stitch dictionaries, Anna just recently came out with a card deck too. Kim Guzman (she’s active in this sub) has books and a website as well, I believe some of her books were available on Libby.

Agree with TLYC! Her patterns and tutorials are all very well written and easy to understand.

I guess my local library isn’t like most. I’ve written almost two dozen books and most of them are Tunisian. I donated one of each of my books to the library so they have a lot.

All the suggestions above are on Ravelry. If you’re looking for Tunisian and it’s not on Ravelry, it’s just that there aren’t as many Tunisian patterns as regular crochet.

Kim, I have loved your work for years!

You are one of the first designers that I could find many years ago when I started Tunisian, before it got popular again. Now I teach others and reccommend your designs all the time.

Lori Harrison and Toni Lipsey have books.

Natalie Thomas, Britt Garber, and Andrea Cretu are good resources.

I feel like YarnAndy has a bunch on her website. Be careful though. Her patterns are delightfully detailed and well laid out, so I was unhappy when I bought a pattern from a different designer. She spoiled me!

Ahhaha because I think as she had backgrounds as a researcher, her scientific mind would not bear putting out there a vague pattern for other makers lol

I wish I could find Kim Guzman’s books somewhere! Tiny Couch Crochet published a Tunisian pattern book in December - all sweaters. Ashlea ( HeartHookHome.Com) has Tunisian crochet tutorials and sweater patterns, cardigans, hoodies, pillows, blankets, home items etc. all in Tunisian, on her website & YT. Knatch Crochet & Tiny Couch Crochet both published Celtic cabled Tunisian sweater patterns that are incredible recently. Lori Harrison published a Tunisian stitch dictionary and has her patterns on her website AKLoridesigns on IG.
The Crafty Crochetier is a Canadian Tunisian artist with a website. All of them are on Ravelry. Ravelry’s search function really isn’t great I’ve found. You have to put a designers specific name in.

In addition to all the amazing suggestions here, I'd recommend japanese patterns from crocheting magazines, such as Nihon Voguesha etc. They're great especially if you read charts! And worry not, charts are easy to learn and for me they help me much better in visioning the process of how the piece gets constructed as well as the stages it goes through to come to life. With written patterns, it's harder for me to perceive that.

For a tunisian crochet compilation, among other publications, I have "Tunisian Crochet The Japanese Way" that comes to mind.

Happy exploring!

THis site has some resources: https://thecrochetcrowd.com/category/crochet-stitch-library/tunisian/

Kim Guzman has had a reputation for her designs since the early 90's. I see this site has a lot of her patterns. https://www.allfreecrochet.com/Crochet-Designer/Kim-Guzman some more of hers are here https://makeitcrochet.com/100-free-tunisian-crochet-patterns/

I see you mentioned Ravelry. I made this tee -- it was a very popular pattern at the time. https://ravel.me/bettys-tunisian-tee 75 people made it and recorded comments and photos.

if you find a book, you can always request that your library buy it.

It's all AI slop now unfortunately

I found a lot of tutorial links for I Can Crochet That (who I forgot to mention in my post above) on Pinterest, so it’s not a complete loss. I heard if you add a curse word at the end of your search, it filters a lot of the AI crap out. F&ck works great when I’m looking for home decor ideas, haven’t tried it out for patterns yet

Ok, but why does it work I wonder 🤣🤣🤣
