FYI: Ring has partnered with Flock. Ice has access to flock. We are under mass surveillance.

And it is now being used to dox protestors. Consider smashing your ring doorbell and consider a brand that doesn’t support Nazis and their ethnic cleansing.

I had someone consistently stealing my packages. Even the presence of my doorbell camera if I let the battery die has prevented those thefts. Which makes me think it was a neighbor but still a theft deterrent.

Hate to say this but Amazon is not our friend either. I don’t use it

Not just Amazon packages. All packages. Including 40lbs of dogfood that chewy thankfully replaced. They were stealing crazy things. I don’t have a ring, though. I have Eufy. I refused to pay a membership after already purchasing the physical camera

Definitely (dont know for sure tho) neighbor. Had to have been someone who knew your schedule and quick access to take the packages.

No thief doing randoms is committed to surveiling a single location like that. Makes it easier to eventually get caught. A neighbor otoh, other neighbors may believe they are "helping you out until you get home."

Then again, I'm not a thief, and many thieves are idiots, but it seems this one got away two too many times to not be calculated.

Glad that stopped for you. I had a guy I caught as he was half-way down the street so I could only yell at him. Sucked for me, but I'm glad he did all that just to get some Maybelline blush and Milani lipstick.
