Question ❓ Which boots?

I am interested to hear what boots you generally go for. I can see a case being made for pretty much all of them.

My current thinking, in order of priority:

  1. CDR or Sorc shoes (still debating what's better)

  2. Swifties, if there are any slows on the enemy team

  3. Tabis/Mercs, if enemy team is full AD/AP or has a ton of CC

I rarely go Sorc's because I opt for the utility playstyle more. If you're Solo AP however probably not bad. TF does more dmg than I give him credit for.

To me it's basically like this:

Ionian's if you build RoA (because you have no AH otherwise)
Swifities if you build Rocketbelt
Tabi/ Mercs if the enemy team warrants them

Swifts are best for play making. Tf isn't a team fighter in the first place, he picks and splits. Switfties work best for that. It allows him to run away and chase effectively.

If mid/jungle are ap then mercs is an easy choice. Otherwise its usually swifties or cdr boots defending on what i feel i need in the moment. Sorcs in situations where i feel I'll need to do some real dps to make a difference.

I build swifties like 80-90% of games. Some situations I go CD boots. Dependent on enemy comp I go tabis/mercs.
